Grass Fed and Grass Finished Beef. James R. Gleason homesteaded the Gleason Ranch in 1859. An immigrant from Ireland, Gleason initially settled on the east coast of the United States. From there he ventured aboard ship by way of Cape Horn, to what we now know of as Washington State. Forty miles southwest of Olympia, James R. Gleason founded the Gleason Ranch with the beautiful Satsop River running through it. The Satsop River still runs through The Gleason Ranch. Bulls – The Gleason Ranch.

We run a “closed herd” operation the only cattle we introduce on our land are breeding bulls. This practice protects the health of our cattle and assures our customers of the origin and safety of their beef.
