Life gets in the way…. I’m afraid life has got in the way of blogging this week. It’s also interrupted knitting, sewing and just about everything else! These little beauties went in the post yesterday to be included the next Fibreholics. Box They are (clockwise from top-left) Grey Shetland in ‘Bay of Fires’, Oatmeal BFL in ‘Caveside’, Zeehan yarn in ‘Redgum’ and ‘Braddon’ merino/nylon sock yarn in ‘Bush Mint’. I’ve been doing plenty of dyeing recently. Some alpaca/merino 4 ply. May 11, 2010.

Saturday, 19 November 2011. There are definate perks to working in a yarn shop! On a completely different note, here's a little something I've been doing on and off this summer, daisy squares. Green Eyed Monsters: The Blog. The Misadventures of Katie the WoolMonkey. This is a simple little pattern, great for using up odds and ends of yarn - ideal for Fibreholics. Row 1: kfb, k1, kfb. Row 2 and all even rows: Purl all stitches. Row 3: kfb, k3, kfb. Row 5: kfb, k5, kfb. Rows 7 and 9: knit all stitches. Make at least 6 petals. You could make up to 10 if you want a very full flower.
