8220;Miracles are a retelling in small letters of the very same story which is written across the whole world in letters too large for some of us to see. C.S. Lewis. Wednesday, May 02, 2012. In Remembrance. . . She connected right into the center of my soul and passionately spoken truth over me. She gave my fledgling heart dignity, honor and wisdom. I have often thought about how Jesus 'slipped away' and 'went across the sea' etc-to find much needed rest. Here He was the God-man with all the answers ...

katy, stu, brooks, and levi: Levi at 6 months
http://katyandstu.blogspot.com/2011/10/levi-at-6-months.html
Katy, stu, brooks, and levi. Monday, October 24, 2011. Levi at 6 months. I know this is a little late since he is almost 6 1/2 months, but here we go:. 1 You are definitely sitting up all by yourself. 2 You babble and spit bubbles a lot! It's really cute. I need to remind myself to record it before you stop doing it! 3 You are eating fruits and veggies now. I'm finding it interesting that you make nasty faces at the fruit, but dive your head towards the spoon for the vegetables! Yeah, thanks for that one!

Funky Cold Medinas: November 2011
http://funkycoldmedinas.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 17, 2011. Sometimes emotion hits unexpectedly, welling up inside, becoming a big tight ball of tension behind the eyes and throat. And then, the pressure becomes too great, and the dam bursts, no longer able to hold back the torrent of pain and heartache flooding forth in constricted and unwilling tears. I felt the poignant ache of loss and love and hope and loss. This was the first time I’d ever let that thought become more than a flitting wisp; I genuinely wanted to be out of t...

Funky Cold Medinas: August 2014
http://funkycoldmedinas.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 18, 2014. Typically, I am not a quitter. I force myself to see things through to a natural conclusion, no matter how painful or how hard. That fatalistic determination has changed somewhat since losing my intestine. Some things just aren’t worth it and I have had to realize I just cannot do everything I think I can; that’s why I am so very careful and particular about what I commit myself to. There’s no way. I’ve set myself up for complete failure. A person’s spiritual life cannot be...

8220;Miracles are a retelling in small letters of the very same story which is written across the whole world in letters too large for some of us to see. C.S. Lewis. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. A Testimony of His Grace. Ah, when to the heart of man. Was it ever less than treason,. To go with the drift of things. To yield with grace to reason. And bow and accept the end. Of a love or a season? From Reluctance By Robert Frost, sketched into the back of my Bible ten years ago. Although I believe with joy.
