Zoob News: The Zaruba Family Blog. Saturday, August 11, 2012. The "Wild Kratts" is Ian's favorite cartoon (a fun, educational show about wildlife) so we planned a wild animal party at our local Wildlife Sanctuary! We made "creature power discs" (from the show) that each child picked out of a bag when they arrived. Then they got to pick out the matching mask. Surprisingly most of the kids wore their masks the whole time! Getting ready for our scavenger hunt. What a great group of kids! We love you, Ian!

Zoob News: The Zaruba Family Blog. Friday, October 14, 2011. Audrey is 3 months away from turning 3 yrs and she's very particular about what she'll wear. We've struck out with costumes in the past so I was thrilled to see her LOVE her "pony" (unicorn) costume this year. This is her trying it on for the first time, running around the room and checking herself out in the fireplace reflection. So she better still like this in 2 weeks when we go trick-or-treating :). We're so proud of our brave Ian - heading off to a new school this year. Audrey's in school now too. She is eating it up - feeling like a really cool, big girl, doing big girl things at her school.. It was great - they read the story with pictures on a large projection screen, there was a "hot chocolate" dance to go along with yummy cocoa, a train ride (of course) followed by meeting Santa. Tuesday, January 12, 2010. We did it, we got a dog! Introducing Max Tank Prince! He is a cute, fiesty, puppy full of love. Max is a plott hound/lab mix with beautiful green eyes! He is the most social dog you could ever meet, but with all the puppy tendancies like bitting, peeing when we are gone, and chewing on a few things here and there.
