GOOD DAYS: October 2012
http://joeyandnicholeplusg.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 10, 2012. Held my face in her hands and whispered you are so pretty. She kissed me perfectly on the lips and turned to her friends. She gently looked back and waved. Gripped my hand and positioned it for a proper high-five. She ran to her friends and then back to me. She shouted bye bye Mama. And never looked back. Squealed and ran straight to me. I whispered I missed you today…. And kissed her face off. Squealed and ran straight to me. I whispered I missed you today…. And Now It's Fall.

GOOD DAYS: May 2012
http://joeyandnicholeplusg.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 18, 2012. You are fantastically dramatic. You are as sweet as you are mean. Know you are loved. Know you are loved. Thursday, May 17, 2012. Gracie wore a green shirt. Others wore angel wings (and probably cowboy boots.). We were asked to participate in the creation of a video that will be shown during the opening ceremony for the new hospital. My friend Jane organized the shoot and captured this picture with her iPhone. Thursday, May 10, 2012. Wednesday, May 9, 2012. Fifty Shades of Grayson.

GOOD DAYS: March 2015
http://joeyandnicholeplusg.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 5, 2015. Happy Birthday Charlotte Cole. My eyes unlocked extra early for you today. I walked past your room and couldn’t help but peek in. I couldn’t wait to see you. I have been counting the sparkles in your eyes and my blessings for five whole years. You wished for a stuffed dog, a mermaid Barbie, a Lego set, and a human anatomy book. You couldn't wait to see if your wishes came true. Thank you Charlie for being ours and being you. We can't wait to see what five looks like.

GOOD DAYS: Capacity of Heart
http://joeyandnicholeplusg.blogspot.com/2013/10/capacity-of-heart.html
Friday, October 4, 2013. It used to happen each year at this time- an internal craving to take flight. I would search myself and question the roots that I had started to bury. Wondering if I was where I was supposed to be. Each year I made excuses for explorations unclaimed and paths cut short. Today I find unwavering comfort in my chosen route and my beautifully buried roots. I wish for her faith in flight, depth in her roots, and the capacity of heart to want both. GOOD DAYS: February 2013
http://joeyandnicholeplusg.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Joey picked up a packet of papers last week. The questions inside were simple to answer. With ease I filled in her name and age and emergency contacts. It was equally as easy to think back to the day she was born. We created her—and she created us. Several months ago Gracie relayed that her teacher told her she was shine. Like sunshine and diamonds. Mama loves you. No matter how big you grow to be. You'll always stay my Baby G. Tuesday, February 26, 2013. How do i explain.

I created a great work. I will slowly turn the pages and study every chapter. I suppose all mothers feel this way about their children. Thursday, August 8, 2013. I am proud of you Gracie. The compassion that lives within you is so powerful. Kindergarten is coming and I could not be happier and more excited for you.

GOOD DAYS: Most
http://joeyandnicholeplusg.blogspot.com/2013/10/most.html
Wednesday, October 2, 2013. On the way to school her sequined purse caught the sun and stars magically appeared all over the car. With enchantment filling her indigo eyes she questioned, “Should we have a dance party? Swiftly she swayed her attention to counting buses and forecasting how many we could see on our 5-mile commute. As we passed the fire station she decided that tomorrow we will count fire engines or maybe just red cars. This was a most morning. October 2, 2013 Charlotte Cole. How do i explain.
