Ellen Mueller | Synergism

Chief Resource Management Officer. 2012 & Earlier. Is an in-progress 3D print-on-demand sculptural street art project. Each cluster of office-related objects is designed to fit into corner-shaped spaces. Participants are encouraged to print these subtle sculptures, and install them on office buildings they feel could spontaneously start leaking bureaucracy (DMVs, corporate headquarters, office parks, etc). The works are 3D modeled in SketchUp and printed in matte bronze steel by Shapeways.

Ellen Mueller | Monotonize Series
http://ellenmueller.com/gallery/2013-2/monotonize-series
Chief Resource Management Officer. 2012 & Earlier. Stills from ‘Stamina’ (live performance). This series investigates concepts of corporate management systems, prison establishments, sisyphean tasks, and surveillance systems by decontextualizing familiar tasks and placing them natural settings. In each video, I strive to create a somewhat eerie or unsettling ambiance that sets the viewer on edge. The actions portrayed expose an absurdity and a dry humor inherent in this subject matter. 8221; in Oregon.
