When I first mentioned getting her hair cut, Ellie was not interested. She said, “I don’t want to look like a boy.” I then explained that the haircut would just take a little bit off the ends of her hair and not cut it off completely. She was okay with it then. He is now 4 months old, so I mixed up some rice cereal for him which he seemed to mostly enjoy. Sk’s first baby food feeding (4 months). For comparison, here are pictures of the girls eating baby food. Mk’s first baby food feeding (oatmeal at 4 months). I wish I had a picture of EK’s first feeding, but here is one of her eating prunes at 7 months. Ek eating prunes (7 months). SK looks so happy!

Joe, Hannah, Grace and Daniel. Saturday, June 25, 2011. Grace has surprised us with how easily she can memorize songs, books, and movies. I made up little hand motions to help her memorize a couple bible verses. Here we are practicing our bible verses this morning at breakfast. The heavens declare the glory of God. Joe, Hannah, Grace and Daniel. Sunday, June 5, 2011. Daniel is one happy baby. Go on, just TRY looking at these pictures without breaking out into a big, gummy smile yourself. Daniel is such a happy boy. I see glimpses of his personality coming through. He's joyful, expressive, social, strong, and likes to be held. He's sleeping 6-7 hour stretches at night and eats every 3 hours during the day. He's rolled over twice (told you he is strong! And Im so glad hes sleeping longer stretches at night!

Tuesday, March 22, 2011. It's official. Lane-O, as Kara calls him, is a big boy! Lots of changes going on in his life, and he's handling them all so well. So well that I keep questioning whether it's real or not. His second birthday is approaching fast- April 29 will be here before we know it! And we're celebrating his 2nd and Kara's 4th birthdays at Disney World! I was hoping Lane would be interested in using the potty before his 2nd birthday, and before the big trip.
