Thursday, February 10, 2011. Eric surprised us with a trip to Chicago last week. It was such a fun little vacation! It was really fun to be in a big city again and the girls were just awestruck by the tall buildings and loved staying on the 14th floor of our hotel. We went to the Shedd Aquarium one day. The next day we went to the Childrens Museum on Navy Pier. Another hit! We spent many, many hours there! She was happy and didnt want ANY help! Posted by Sweet Baker Babes. Wednesday, November 2, 2011. This past Saturday the girls went to Papa and Gogo's for a fall/costume party. Madi chose to go as a ladybug and Taylor chose a pirate. They had a fun night. They went for dinner, played some games and even did a craft. On Sunday afternoon I decided to set up some carnival type games. The girls had SO much fun. We bobbed for apples (the kind of bobbing that did not soak the girls! Even Eric and I got in on the action- yeah, we couldnt catch our apples either!

Sunday, November 20, 2011. It doesn't happen often, but Tim and I dressed up in costumes on Saturday evening to go to a Harry Potter costume party. Jared and Laura hosted this party in honor of the last movie coming to DVD this past week. There was food, friends, fun and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows parts 1 and 2 were shown. Wednesday, May 30, 2012. I know most of you clicked over thinking you were going to see a picture of me kissing a fish right? Apparantely holding a fish with your thumb in its mouth is called lipping a fish and both Madi and I lipped our first fish this memorial day! Yeah, we were pretty proud of ourselves and I think Eric was pretty proud of us too! We each caught a blue gill (my first catch since I was 6! I also caught a bass, but it was too little to keep).
