Bits about anything usual or unusual coming out of my head. There is something special in travelling impromptu .you don’t need too much planning or detailing to make the magic work.Curiously enough, like minded eggheads come together and lo! Off we go on an adventure. It’s much satisfying to be in the company where there are no judgements dished across of any kind. Well except if you are gay, they might take the Mickey out of you. Other than that? 8216;ghise pite’. Topics revolving around shit, chicks, mo...

Bits about anything usual or unusual coming out of my head. Into the land of Roar,Trumpet and Song. We were greeted by a dense cover of Sal trees which closed in the sky above. Sal trees (Shorea Robusta) compiles almost 75% of the total area of the forest. They provide a good cover against the sweltering heat of the sun. Fortunately when we went, it wasn’t that hot ; but we somehow came back with heavily sun burnt faces. At Gairal Forest Lodge, with Fahim and the Gypsy. My very first Spotted deer! Uttara...

The Ambiguous Swing – ShrutiMirasdar

Bits about anything usual or unusual coming out of my head. There was not a thing to be said about Swings. There are numerous reasons why it will always be her favorite childhood memory. She remembers the feeling of soaring high up in the sky, of watching everything else around in sight shrink in and expand like a pendulum moves. Particularly, the sense of reaching newer heights with each gush of wind. As the blood rushes to her face, smiling, she pushes it up and higher, until she is afraid no more.

Bits about anything usual or unusual coming out of my head. Stay Hungry Stay Foolish. Today, I feel very restless. And the reason is my own, I was casually scrolling through the random pictures I clicked during the recce to Himachal last november. A stringe of images and I start having pangs of despair. I was literally lusting after them and then I realised something is awry. My mind of course! I have developed a more serious attitude towards travelling, a way to find the purpose of life. The purpose...

Bits about anything usual or unusual coming out of my head. What happens when you spot a leopard? Yes, you read that right. I need not give any introduction.he is one of the more sought after carnivore in the world. But its reveal was quite accidental to me. Even if you are not looking, it is there. Very elusive and shy, he does not like the spotlight. What skill it has to hypnotise those who look at it? What does it know that you do not? What is going through its mind when he is looking with those rotun...

The Himalayan Offbeat Sojourn – ShrutiMirasdar
https://bitsabouteverything.wordpress.com/2014/12/08/4
Bits about anything usual or unusual coming out of my head. The Himalayan Offbeat Sojourn. View from Hatu Peak, Narkanda. Well, as they say, don’t judge a book by its cover. And this is my maiden attempt to write a blog ( after countless posts on Facebook ) so you get the hint. I was already over the snow in my dreams. Some sumptuous chicken soup round’s off Chandigarh. Pretty wild flowers adorn the stone wall. We traveled to Shoghi to see some more hotels and then it was straight to Shimla. Old building...
