PLEASE NOTE: The AstroSim Programme is now closed. AstroSim provides a range of funding for activities in the broad context of Computational Astrophysics. The funding can cover travel, accommodation, event rooms etc. However funding is primarily for European Scientists. In special cases overseas visitors could be funded if they are invited to visit several institutes for example. Applications for grants may be submitted at any time. Decisions are made by the steering committee, usually within a month.

Training schools in Computational Astrophysics could focus on general techniques, or on a specific area such as parallel supercomputing, radiative transfer or MHD. Recent schools have proved very successful and are heavily oversubscribed illustrating the interest in this topic amongst young students. Contact Ben Moore if you need any further information.
