Grump: Camping Spiders etc
http://grumpyolddog.blogspot.com/2011/01/camping-spiders-etc.html
Monday, January 17, 2011. Here are some photos from the rain shortened camping trip. It has been very wet in SE Australia, we have been lucky to get just a small portion of the rains. All the best to Queenslanders. A sunbaking Dragon fly. Look at this spider he has the best colour and shape. He kept hiding behind the grass seeds. These last two are your classic spider shapes. Yikes, yikes and yikes. The hairy one is kind of pretty. The caterpillar is adorable. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Monday, December 06, 2010. At last a hot/dry day and we headed to the beach. It is only a bay side beach so no big breakers, still refreshing. For some it is a matter of use what you have, this man actually has a couple of fishing rods attached to this small inflatable. If you are swimming remember to swim between the flags. This is the very best way to travel, over night by boat. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Dust Bunny in the wind. In the eye of the beholder.

adventures of wanderlust gyrl: November 2013
http://wanderlustgyrl.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Adventures of wanderlust gyrl. A girl, her dogs, and their follies. For the past month or so, weekends have been jam-packed with activities. So much so that when Monday rolls in, I feel a sense of relief that my dull little routine will allow for some very necessary rest. This weekend proved no exception. There is also a part of me that thinks I am simply looking for any excuse to cut bait, because when serious comes knocking at the door, this girl bolts. Links to this post. This evening marks my sixth d...

adventures of wanderlust gyrl: December 2016
http://wanderlustgyrl.blogspot.com/2016_12_01_archive.html
Adventures of wanderlust gyrl. A girl, her dogs, and their follies. It's been awhile since I have visited this little corner of the universe. Ballroom has been out of my life for over a year. Life has basically consisted of working way to much. However, my international travel has picked back up this year and my passport has been getting exercised. Sunday I returned from a holiday in northern India. I booked the two week trip at the beginning of November, about a month before departure. We spent the week...

adventures of wanderlust gyrl: January 2017
http://wanderlustgyrl.blogspot.com/2017_01_01_archive.html
Adventures of wanderlust gyrl. A girl, her dogs, and their follies. Not your winehouse rehab. I've only ever met a glass or two of wine that I didn't like. I simply couldn't face a world, a life without my Lulu because she was my everything. Wine helped. Shortly after my Lulu's death, it was clear that my temporary assignment in Austin would be coming to a close. Let's just ladle on more terrible things, shall we? As I described my adventures with the Tour Director to my closest friends, I found myself r...

adventures of wanderlust gyrl: maybes
http://wanderlustgyrl.blogspot.com/2014/10/maybes.html
Adventures of wanderlust gyrl. A girl, her dogs, and their follies. He avoided me all day. Johnny never lets an opportunity to even simply pop his head in my office and say hi. Today - post-text message - was pure avoidance. Maybe I misread the road signs. Maybe he rethought the situation. Or maybe I am over thinking again. Maybe the maybes plague me more than they should. Just re-read your last post. Could it be that he just enjoys the chase? Wed Oct 15, 06:44:00 PM 2014. View my complete profile.

adventures of wanderlust gyrl: April 2014
http://wanderlustgyrl.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Adventures of wanderlust gyrl. A girl, her dogs, and their follies. While I am coping fairly well with the layoff, or fUNemployment as I am calling it these days, my food consumption choices have been dismal. I refuse to step on the scale because my loose clothes aren't as loose and I quite frankly don't want to see the number. Of course, over the weekend, there was a bit of Chinese food in the picture. But a small slip is okay. Links to this post. Last thing i expected. I am enjoying getting my long to-...
