Life with HIV: The electorate's views on climate change - opposite to Abbott gov's
https://lifewithhiv-peter.blogspot.com/2015/08/the-electorates-views-on-climate-change.html
Living in Australia HIV positive. Monday, 10 August 2015. The electorate's views on climate change - opposite to Abbott gov's. A new report from the Climate Institute, Climate of the Nation 2015. Shows research about Australian sentiment in regards to climate change. To put it bluntly, Australians are gobsmacked at Abbott's war on wind and sun when Australians want to embrace it. We believe climate change is real and man made and requires much more than the Abbott gov's token gestures. Acceptance that cl...

Living in Australia HIV positive. Wednesday, 5 August 2015. Abbott's top 25 entitlement rorts since 2009. Yep, age of entitlement over and all that. There's lots of other interesting stuff to read in the article, but here is the top 25 here. Just these 25 alone add up to a whopping $84,000:. 6 In May 2011 Tony Abbott and family claimed $...

Life with HIV: Depression report
https://lifewithhiv-peter.blogspot.com/2015/08/depression-report.html
Living in Australia HIV positive. Monday, 10 August 2015. Yesterday David was out seeing a friend home (she stayed overnight and he was getting her to Central OK) and I found myself just sitting staring into space. Nothing on at all. No noise in the place. Just the cats wandering around. Depression is a form of mental paralysis I reckon. Like frozen in the head. Also noticed the court case with psycho nephew is now next month. Not exactly thrilled about having to go relive all that again either. Things a...

Life with HIV: Marriage equality bill introduced in parliament this week
https://lifewithhiv-peter.blogspot.com/2015/08/marriage-equality-bill-introduced-in.html
Living in Australia HIV positive. Monday, 10 August 2015. Marriage equality bill introduced in parliament this week. I'll be astounded if Abbott allows a conscience vote for the Lieberals, so I don't see much of a chance of it passing. But never the less, we have now the latest attempt to get the unrepresentative swill in Canberra to FFS let David and I get married. 8212; Business Lunchbox (@bizlunchbox) August 9, 2015. 4000 people flying the rainbow flag in Sydney for #marriageequality. https://projecthopefulaustralia.wordpress.com/2011/05/28/old-fears-prevent-children-and-parents-from-being-united-by-adoption
HIV/AIDS Timeline →. Old Fears Prevent Children and Parents From Being United By Adoption. May 28, 2011. Written by Janine ( Neen ) Weir Australian Adoption Advocate and Adoptive Mother. Few Australians would have considered adopting a child with HIV in the past. But, this is changing as new education. Yet the greatest need worldwide exists in this category of adoptions, and other western countries are stepping up to give these children a future . In Australia these children could thrive and bloom as ama...

Life with HIV: Adani to build one of biggest in world solar power plant - India
https://lifewithhiv-peter.blogspot.com/2015/08/adani-to-build-one-of-biggest-in-world.html
Living in Australia HIV positive. Sunday, 9 August 2015. Adani to build one of biggest in world solar power plant - India. Abbott's frustrated statement that holding up the Adani coal mine in Queensland is holding up 100,000 people in India from getting electricity, looks even more patheticly false with this interesting little fact. Adani is to build one of the biggest solar power plants in the world, in India. Predictions are too that solar will become cheaper than coal by 2017. A "proud HIV gay man".

Life with HIV: Lieberals praise Bronwyn Bishop - Abbott's kiss of death
https://lifewithhiv-peter.blogspot.com/2015/08/lieberals-praise-bronwyn-bishop-abbotts.html
Living in Australia HIV positive. Monday, 10 August 2015. Lieberals praise Bronwyn Bishop - Abbott's kiss of death. What a display of arrogance. She should be charged by the Federal Police, yet the Lieberals have praised her today as parliament resumes and a new speaker selected. In fact Tone gave her a kiss in front of the entire media. FFS, have they no shame? Surely this kiss must be one of the last nails in Abbott's political coffin? Precious Pyne said this:. There was a Lieberal love in for Bishop.

Life with HIV: Star Trek nearly sunk by an interacial kiss - WTF?
https://lifewithhiv-peter.blogspot.com/2015/08/star-trek-nearly-sunk-by-interacial.html
Living in Australia HIV positive. Sunday, 9 August 2015. Star Trek nearly sunk by an interacial kiss - WTF? Coming from New Zealand it's hard for me to get my head around. That a kiss between two people of different races could have such an impact, yet it did. The show involved was the lowest rated Star Trek episode of the 1960's and wasn't even aired in the US south. Incredible. This was also the reason that gay issues were left untouched in the show at that time. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
