Because of the history of mining in Stevens County, it was the decision of the Stevens County Historical. Society to add a Mining Exhibit to the Museum Complex in the Keller Park at 700 N. Wynne Street in Colville. The history of mining in Stevens County is much too great to be included here, but it cannot be denied that it was the lifeblood of the area in the early 20th century.
