A blog about my fictional Seven Years' War army. Enemy of the Deylicate of Bizerrca. Monday, February 15, 2010. Painting anything that moves. I have been painting quite a bit lately. Just wanted to share a few pics of what I have been up to. To the left is IR-Owens of Cavenderia. My friend David did a nice write-up on the history of the unit in a previous post. 19th Century Sudan Wargames Armies 1883-1885. Tuesday, September 15, 2009. The British Outpost - lovely model! It's over three years since I started this blog and my interest has, as ever, waxed and waned somewhat. However, I still regard this as my main period so was delighted to actually get a game in for the first time at Guildford on Monday. This was down to Keith at the club who suggested a game as he has some Sudan War figures (some very nicely painted Camel Corps made an appearance) too. One of Gu...

General Headquarters: First Turn Results
http://generalheadquarters.blogspot.com/2015/01/first-turn-results.html
Thursday, January 29, 2015. Back to relax in the comfort of Hadley Hall, Sir Richard reads over the reports that have come in from his spies through the region. Lord Turstoke, the Lancastrian rebel to the south-west, has apparently fought a battle. Despite being slightly outnumbered six-to-five by the neighbouring lord of Muncaster, the superior quality of Turstoke's retinue allowed him to triumph. The start of battle, with Turstoke facing a line of Muncaster men while his own is split by a copse of trees.

19th Century Sudan Wargames Armies 1883-1885. Tuesday, January 27, 2009. General Gordon message from Khartoum for sale. Up for auction this week is a tiny note from General Gordon written whilst Khartoum was under siege. It was beleived that it was smuggled out of Khartoum, probably in the courier's hair. Guide price is £500-£700 and I am very tempted by this! The problem is that now it has been in the newspaper it will probably go for much more and I really need to get a new PC this month!
