Stash Dreams: You call yourself a knitter?

http://stashdreams.blogspot.com/2007/01/you-call-yourself-knitter.html

One day I'll have spare yarn. Sunday, January 14, 2007. You call yourself a knitter? This was supposed to be the year of the knitted Christmas gift but I failed miserably. I really wanted to finish my mom's Bristow. This was so disheartening that I cast them aside and began a gift for Lili. I figured she's 9 and would care the most about receiving a finished item for X-mas. I cranked out Nautie. In 2 days. It is by far the cutest knit yet. Posted by leedav at 8:29 AM. Glad you're still posting here!

I'm definitely not ashamed to give it as a gift, which is what I was afraid of! Now I'm just hoping it fits.

Stash Dreams: May 2006

http://stashdreams.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html

One day I'll have spare yarn. Wednesday, May 17, 2006. Let the stash acquisition begin! I really don't have a stash (thus the title of the blog). I got some yarn money for my birthday though and finally made a Knitpicks order. Here's the load:. The stats: 1 pair of size 4 circs, Shine in Terra cotta for Picovoli for me, 2 skeins sock yarn for dyeing, 2 skeins Memories in Redwood Forest, 2 skeins Sock Memories in Grandma for socks for Lili, and Wool of the Andes in Asparagus for a sweater for my mom.

Stash Dreams: March 2006

http://stashdreams.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html

One day I'll have spare yarn. Friday, March 31, 2006. I decided to give socks another go when I met a male knitter who was making a gorgeous pair using Mountain Colors. This yarn is lxurious and I figured my sweetie deserved some socks since I won't make him a sweater until after we are married. I used the same pattern but the thing that made me love these socks, and in turn sock knitting, is that I decided to endure the tedium of 2x2 ribbing for 6 inches. These socks do not sag around the ankles! I have...

Stash Dreams: Baby sweater for Theron.

http://stashdreams.blogspot.com/2006/11/baby-sweater-for-theron.html

One day I'll have spare yarn. Sunday, November 19, 2006. Baby sweater for Theron. This morning my nephew was born! I'd hoped to get this sweater there before he was born but I tried it on a one year old today and it fit fine so I am not in a hurry. These pictures are old. I am done with the knitting and just need to add the zipper in the back. Yarn: Mexican Wave Acrylic. Yeah, it was a little squeeky to knit but I was so enthralled with the color changes that I didn't mind at all. View my complete profile.

Madisonienne: Babies

http://madisonienne.blogspot.com/2007/05/babies.html

Thursday, May 31, 2007. My 5 year old "baby" just lost her second tooth. She starts summer school tomorrow and can't wait to show all of her friends her baby tooth. I don't think any of them have so much as a wiggle in their mouths, so H-bomb's feeling pretty grown-up right now. I'm finally scheduled for more than 5 hours this coming month, which should keep me busy and my mind off my tummy (at least until I deal with patients). Plus, I got a raise, so the paychecks will be even nicer than before&#46...

Wednesday, August 30, 2006. Icarus Progress. With Photos! Ok So blogger doesn't want to put my photos where I want them. Anyway. I started classes on Monday. Bright and early at 7:30 in the morning. I'm not really what people call a "morning person". I like to sleep. I like my bed. I like my eyes to be closed during the dark morning. I'm sure that I'll adjust in a few weeks, but until then, I'll be dragging. Right now, I'm taking a break from my urinalysis studying (oh, yeah) to get these photos up.

Madisonienne: Forget me?

http://madisonienne.blogspot.com/2007/08/forget-me.html

Tuesday, August 14, 2007. Oh, I hope not! I've been busy, with a very important project! H-bomb is going to be starting kindergarten in 3 weeks, while I return to school in 2 weeks. I'll have one whole week with both of the girls together, and I'm fairly certain all of my hair will fall out and I will develop an enormous amount of new wrinkles. That's about all we've been up to at Chez Madisonienne. Ooh, and watching far too much E! What a beauty she is! I'm so glad you're all doing well.

Madisonienne: It's A Girl!

http://madisonienne.blogspot.com/2007/02/its-girl.html

Friday, February 16, 2007. We had a 19 week ultrasound yesterday. The doctor was able to see girl parts on the scan. Everything still looked normal, so we won't have any more for the rest of the pregnancy. We're excited to start thinking about names, and it should be easier since we'll only have to choose from one gender. I was checking to make sure my web ring links were working right after updating my template. I's so wonderful to see ultrasound pics. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Madisonienne: June 2006

http://madisonienne.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html

Tuesday, June 20, 2006. Where Do You Knit? Young knitters in Madison are having a hard time forming good knitting groups. At least, that's what I'm getting from Madam. And the writer of this blog. I think it would be great if Madison had a young knitters' group. Not too young, because even though I have a vast depth of patience, it runs out quickly when I'm around whippersnappers. I Got An 'A'! Sunday, June 11, 2006. You know what's not fun? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Another example of everybody else.

Madisonienne: October 2006

http://madisonienne.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html

Tuesday, October 31, 2006. The excitement at my house is running high right now. It's a little sad that I don't have anybody to share it with, but H-bomb will be home soon. I'm so glad to get it done. I think it took forever and 5 days. I haven't decided where I'll block it yet, but I'm thinking my dining room table. We don't use it for much anyway. I'll get some photos posted as soon as I have the cable to connect to the computer. Somebody took it with him to work. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). For The Lo...

Madisonienne: December 2006

http://madisonienne.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html

Sunday, December 31, 2006. Tuesday, December 26, 2006. Came back within in normal ranges. We have another set of blood tests coming up in 3 weeks, but nobody's expecting anything other than normal results for those as well. The tests were for Down syndrome and trisomy 13, 16 and 18, I believe. All are chromosonal disorders that usually include mental retardation and physical abnormalities in the baby. Monday, December 25, 2006. From Mema and Bapa. Happy Holidays, everybody! Tuesday, December 19, 2006.

Madisonienne: New Things

http://madisonienne.blogspot.com/2007/02/new-things.html

Friday, February 09, 2007. I haven't been doing much knitting lately. I seem to have lost the inspiration for the projects I started. I blame the cold weather and the more challenging courses I'm taking this semester. Even the new issue of IK. I wasn't too thrilled with the new IK, either. Alas. I'm glad to hear your pregnancy is going along so well. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Another example of everybody else. Another example of everybody else. View my complete profile.
