University of Illinois Springfield. Officials are concerned that contracts for its new Public Safety Building may have to be rebid, further delaying a project they say is sorely needed. The $5.3 million project went out for bids in November, and “the bids came in and we were all ready to go,” said Chuck Coderko. On July 28, 2015.
