It's the Millers' Thai'm! Miller Family Blog…. A Morning in the Life…. January 25, 2016. How to pick up after not writing for three months (to the day, actually). I’ll start with today. The very present hour, in fact. And by indulging in the details and all the inner-thought processes of even just an hour or two, you’ll get a glimpse of what life at 7-months-in looks like here. It’s unusually cold in Chiang Mai today. I dropped the kids off around 9:30/9:40, about half an hour later than usual. We ap...

It's the Millers' Thai'm! Miller Family Blog…. October 4, 2015. Within the past two weeks, two dear dear friends experienced profound loss, back home in America. One lost her husband to cancer, after a grueling year and a half battle. The other lost her father, suddenly and unexpectedly. Both are unimaginable to me. And both still have young mouths to feed and little hearts to nurture, amidst the grief that must be engulfing them. And I’m here, across the world. It’s hard enough to do it in just one.

Listen To Your Mother DC speaker… Sonya Spillmann. I have a really fancy friend. She’s a blogger, soon to be public speaker, and I am honored to call her my dear friend. When I met her a few years ago it was through a mutual friend. That friend told me that Sonya would be moving to my neighborhood and she said, “You’re getting a good one.” She was so right. I’ve always been in awe of writers. I don’t have that gift, which is why you’re here for the pictures and not the words 😉. Follow her on Facebook.
