Adventures of a mum and toddler. I’m an Australian 34 year old solo mama to one boy, E, 2 years old. So far we’ve done five weeks backpacking Vietnam, one month on an island-hopping adventure in Hawaii and next up is Bali. I’ve also worked at “Fat Camp” as a Camp Counselor in the US and English Teacher in South Korea. In between travel adventures I managed a Backpackers Hostel in Kings Cross, Sydney. Adventures of a mum and toddler. Solo Parent Snow Trip – Day 1. I was up at 5am on the travel day for our snow trip to Mt Selwyn. So nervous because so many things could go wrong. My bus driver was a stranger found online, the bus company was an unknown, there was so much to do to pick up everyone and the luggage too. Would the accommodation be okay? Would we all get along? How would a bunch of kids like snow for the first time? We had to pull into a hardware store – with eight adults and five kids!

Friend whom always comes up with healthy, brilliant recipes/lifestyle changes/playdates/everything, texts me the other day saying "lets go no poo. I'm usually down for whatever so I was like "aight.".
