This is the official Livejournal community for Minicon. A science fiction convention that has been around for more than forty years. The Minnesota Science Fiction Society. Puts on the convention each year, usually on Easter weekend in or near Minneapolis. Will be held March 25 - 27, 2016.

It was fantastic to watch him up there and hear his awesome material. Not to say that I didn't *love* many of the other performers insults, but hey Pat's my homeboy and I love his stuff. Before the end of the year and I managed to hit the end on Christmas day. I think that’s a nice Christmas present to myself. Now I shall let it sit for a month or so while I work on other projects. Speaking of other projects: the next MinnSpec anthology By Polaris Bright. So, what does 2015 hold for me?

What you did to make guy friends. I was accepted ED (yay! And have heard lots and lots about the fact that you have to put yourself out there in order to make guy friends/meet prospective boyfriends. I am outgoing and love to go out etc, so I don't see it as being a huge problem because I have a relatively good dating life, but what did you have do to in particular? I have heard of women meeting people through clubs and organizations, but what sort of things specifically? Tags: guys (or lack thereof).
