Producten uit onze werkateliers in India. In de verschillende werkateliers van SISP wordt op een hoog ecologische waarde producten vervaardigd. De verkrijgbaarheid van de SISP artisanale producten. De producten worden zowel op de plaatselijke markt in India als hier in België bij allerlei gelegenheden waar we met SISP naar buiten treden aan de man gebracht. In Kovalam-Vizhinjam kan u terecht in de 'Surf and Handicraft shop' . Meerdere items uit de ateliers in Vizhinjam zijn sedert kort ook.

SISP tracht de levenskwaliteit te verbeteren van de allerarmsten en de drop-outs van de Indische samenleving in enkele dorpen in Zuid Kerala. Producten te koop bij. Het kokosatelier krijgt meer en meer bestellingen uit België, Nederland, Groot-Brittanië en Italië. Zij voegden juwelen toe aan hun aanbod en deze werden erg populair. Het hele proces van verwerking verloopt binnen het project van SISP. In de keuken wordt het kokosvlees verwijderd uit de noot en verwerkt in de dagelijkse gratische maaltijden die worden aangeboden.

Deze vrouwen hebben sedertdien hun handvaardigheden vervolledigd, ontwerpen nieuwe producten en trainen andere behoeftige vrouwen en jongeren. Wat begon als een klein atelier voor het maken van eenvoudige papieren zakken uit gerecycleerde kranten is uitgegroeid tot een professioneel georganiseerde eenheid, die ten minste vijftien mensen tewerkstelt en een verscheidenheid aan producten creëert aan tevreden klanten wereldwijd.
