The Perfect Binge: March 2013
http://perfectbinge.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Mar 29, 2013. I am completely hooked on the Inspector Gamache series. I like the literary references, the motley band of characters, and the looming threat of the inspector's history. Book three, The Cruelest Month. Did not disappoint. However, it was big on the gloom, and I do wish I had not read it during an extraordinarily gloomy March in Ohio. Mar 28, 2013. Did I just wait to long to check this one out? Did not delight me at all despite my fondness for Toni Collette and all things Australian. 3/10.

The Perfect Binge: April 2013
http://perfectbinge.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Apr 24, 2013. Hilarious advice on getting babies to sleep. Apr 23, 2013. Was a special on PBS that followed med school students and then revisited them later in their career. It was really good. The doctors had a variety of focuses and their ultimate directions was really surprising in some cases. It felt like watching the real-life version of Scrubs (a show I absolutely adored) crossed with the 7 Up documentaries (which I also deeply into). 7/10. . Apr 22, 2013. Apr 21, 2013. The Perfect Binge: A little bit hopeless
http://perfectbinge.blogspot.com/2013/08/a-little-bit-hopeless.html
Aug 22, 2013. A little bit hopeless. Halfway through the film Another Year. I was really tempted to turn it off. There's so much loneliness in it, and that's not necessarily good watching for me at the moment. Sad and a bit hopeless, yes, but still a pretty wonderful film. Thomas at My Porch. August 23, 2013 12:06 PM. Sounds like an Anita Brookner novel. I must track this one down. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 101 Things in 1,001 Days Take 2. 101 Things in 1,001 Days. The Perfect Binge: Messiness
http://perfectbinge.blogspot.com/2013/08/messiness.html
Aug 27, 2013. I know you can't see it, but this book is preeeetttttty. Little white embossed birds all over the cover. The inside pages have a bird on the edge that flies if you flip the pages really fast. Just so pretty and well thought out. Sadly, I didn't really like When Women Were Birds. Dog-Eared: Recent Purchases
http://dogearedit.blogspot.com/2010/06/recent-purchases.html
Rather than posting things I lust after, I thought I'd list off some things I've actually purchased. Lately. Although the result is not quite as cute, I think it helps me to picture the direction in which my personal style is evolving. Although they were relatively expensive, I figured that they would be put to good use in Los Angeles this summer. I don't ever.
