http://myminiaturemischief.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
My wargaming hobby: all of the enthusiasm.none of the skill. Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Some works in progress and more pics. Here are some more photos of the dungeon beasties that are in progress. Unable to stomach the prices for the beautiful Otherworld Miniatures bugbears I decided to gather a bunch of D&D prepaints and see if I could salvage them into something a bit nicer. They've been equipped with new weapons and shields, removed from their bases and re-based. Sunday, April 27, 2014. Older style, ...

My wargaming hobby: all of the enthusiasm.none of the skill. Sunday, April 26, 2015. I ran an ad-hoc dungeon crawl a week ago and enjoyed it. While I had the stuff out on the table I set up for some pictures. These were not of the game itself (I'll take some next time, promise! Miniature Mischief: September 2014
http://myminiaturemischief.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
My wargaming hobby: all of the enthusiasm.none of the skill. Wednesday, September 24, 2014. Robotech: Quel-Quallie Zentraedi Ship. The end result turned out pretty good, considering the quality of the kit. No major modifications and I did not include the big radar cluster which is optional under the craft. The craft is very brittle and I suspect I'll be repairing the legs sooner rather than later. I hope it looks reasonable on a board filled with 1/285th Robotech miniatures though!

My wargaming hobby: all of the enthusiasm.none of the skill. Wednesday, March 26, 2014. I'm a thirty-something gamer. My interests lie mainly in small skirmish miniature wargames. I love role-playing games (rarely have a group available) and enjoy PC gaming, and even the occasional board game. I run TurnStyle Games which is my own little indie game design company. I may occasionally toss a link up on here. That's it, hope you enjoy the occasional read! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Awesome Inc. templat...

Miniature Mischief: Dusting off the cobwebs...
http://myminiaturemischief.blogspot.com/2015/07/dusting-off-cobwebs.html
My wargaming hobby: all of the enthusiasm.none of the skill. Friday, July 10, 2015. Dusting off the cobwebs. So, after nine months (changing jobs, moving.and finding I absolutely hate everything about my situation right now! I managed to calm myself down long enough to put some paint on some figures. I picked up a couple of Tre Manor's sculpts from Reaper - all in metal. I like Bones but I'm not a huge fan of it on smaller miniatures. Lo and behold the four figures of last weekend. Dusting off the cobwebs.

Miniature Mischief: May 2014
http://myminiaturemischief.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
My wargaming hobby: all of the enthusiasm.none of the skill. Friday, May 30, 2014. Ludus reinforcements, the good.and the ugly. So I've added a handful of new gladiators to my ludus from the hit-or-miss range from Brigade Games. Pardon some of the hand-held cell phone pics but I disassembled my photo booth for gaming the other day. Brigade Games Provocator - a nice figure, easy to paint. He is quite slight compared to the others. Again, a plastic Scutum from Warlord Games. And the final surprise of the b...

My wargaming hobby: all of the enthusiasm.none of the skill. Saturday, November 1, 2014. Henchmen and a Hiatus. So, I've been slowly picking away at some additional Otherworld henchmen figures, some additional dungeon dressing, and a small fury critter named Gurgi (from the Chronicles of Prydain books). Some more Thomarillion stuff painted up. Role-call for the newly painted. Henchman #1 - the lantern bearer. Otherworld Minis. Henchman #3 - I call him the "lootsman". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Miniature Mischief: June 2014
http://myminiaturemischief.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
My wargaming hobby: all of the enthusiasm.none of the skill. Friday, June 6, 2014. Drake's Branch gets some new terrain. So, for those of you who followed my development of Shoot N' Skedaddle you'll know my 'town" is Drake's Branch, New Mexico. While my Old West project was nearly complete a year or so ago, I'm never far from adding the occasional detail. Well boredom and spare time caught up with me the past few evenings so I decided to get rid of a bunch of stuff I had sitting around. The last section ...
