JAIME DRAWS: Barely noticeable
http://jaimehuxtable.blogspot.com/2010/03/barely-noticeable.html
Wednesday, 17 March 2010. Two little one page cartoons (more or less actual size here) produced for an impromptu exhibition organised by classmates upon the MA course. The theme was - you guessed it - 'barely noticeable'. Mega project updates coming in the next thrilling installment of Jaime Dribbles. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

JAIME DRAWS: Keeping 'em coming....
http://jaimehuxtable.blogspot.com/2010/01/keeping-em-coming.html
Tuesday, 26 January 2010. Here are my next lot of 'boards, written as they would happen chronologically. Although there's a gap here between the second and third page cos I ain't written it yet (the missing bit being the answer to the narrative's puzzle). I was just desperate to start drawing the protagonist in his living hell to see how it would look! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Noise making (non obviously musical). Man, machine, space and time.

JAIME DRAWS: Trouble in paradise
http://jaimehuxtable.blogspot.com/2010/01/trouble-in-paradise.html
Monday, 18 January 2010. Here are some storyboards I have been working on. They've been written in chronological order but this is not necessarily the order they will appear in within the story. Instead, the narrative will start in the present tense and flashback to these scenes as the plot unravels.you with me? When the story then goes back in time we will realise that events in the past have caused these obsessions and we start to wonder what else could have happened. Why is the man now alone? He then ...

The Shiatsu Zone: A Journey....
http://theshiatsuzone.blogspot.com/2009/12/journey.html
Down to earth blog featuring all things related to Shiatsu Bodywork, health, wellbeing, life and laughter. Wednesday, 9 December 2009. In the spirit of Shiatsu solidarity, I would like to echo Shiatsu Rob. S sentiments and thank both him and. For inspiring me to finish this post - which has been knocking around for a few weeks now and just needed a slight 'polish up' (i.e it was too wordy! Bizarrely, even though I wrote this a while ago, it does reflect a similiarity to things that both Rob. I didn't tra...

JAIME DRAWS: April 2010
http://jaimehuxtable.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Monday, 5 April 2010. Oh, and here's a piccy of my man I did for a proposed exhibition poster (everyone had to provide their own 'avatar' so to speak). Hopefully it'll get used! Finally, here's a post about my major project! The narrative is now so simple it hurts.but at the same time its way more surreal. The protagonist's 'back story' has been stripped away and pretty much everything is now played out in one room. Play (think Happy Days. Etc), this place basically is. Meanwhile, here are the very first...

JAIME DRAWS: Updates....
http://jaimehuxtable.blogspot.com/2010/04/updates.html
Monday, 5 April 2010. Finally, here's a post about my major project! The narrative is now so simple it hurts.but at the same time its way more surreal. The protagonist's 'back story' has been stripped away and pretty much everything is now played out in one room. This room is no ordinary apartment bedroom/living room though. Akin to a stage set from a Beckett. Play (think Happy Days. Etc), this place basically is. How about by making it beyond his reach? Meanwhile, here are the very first sketches follow...

JAIME DRAWS: April 2009
http://jaimehuxtable.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, 26 April 2009. More sketchbook stuff. The 'Hello Kitty' toy has inspired a new character for my graphic novel.I'll explain all in my next post I promise. Too late and too tired for that sorta thing right now. Sunday, 19 April 2009. Playing with doodle ideas. The top third of this drawing is probably the most successful, where I've introduced little frames into the body of the drawing. This could be a way forward for how some of my comic pages might look. The bottom two thirds are more...Not fanta...
