Making a list, checking it twice. Recently, one of the antifeminists who regularly comments here (Cold) posted a link to one such list, helpfully titled "Hateful Quotes From Feminists.". Let's start off with the very first quote:. We're off to a bad start here. This is not a quote from MacKinnon. The words were in...The a...

Book Review: Aurorarama by Jean-Cristophe Valtat | Mr. Manley

My dad used to call me Fart Blossom, too. Book Review: Aurorarama by Jean-Cristophe Valtat. Asymp; 1 Comment. In other words, it’s a literary novelist’s idea of what a contemporary SF novel must be like. It doesn’t reek of parody or condescension. It reeks of missing-the-point-but-earnestly-trying-to-cash-in-anyway, which is a word. Now. Larr; Previous post. Thought on “Book Review: Aurorarama by Jean-Cristophe Valtat”. My dad used to call me Fart Blossom, too. Chicken with Walnuts, Raisins, and Cream. Asymp; Leave a comment. Last night I made this up with ingredients that were in the house. I’m writing it down here so that I can make it again. It’s not a formally structured recipe, but it’s close. It was pretty nomlicious. I’m sharing this publicly so that my friends who are more experienced cooks than I am can maybe make suggestions on how to improve it. About a cup of Kalamanta olive brine. Small amount of olive oil.

https://mrmanley.wordpress.com/2013/08/29/crimes-against-nature
My dad used to call me Fart Blossom, too. Asymp; Leave a comment. In 5th grade, I learned the phrase “Crimes Against Nature” from the Alabama penal code and/or the state Constitution (I don’t remember exactly), which we were reading through as a class. My teacher, Mrs. Goss, wouldn’t tell me what this phrase meant. 8220;What do you think it means? 8221; she said, finally — I think she thought I was just messing with her to get her to say something dirty. Boy, did I feel stupid! Larr; Previous post. On Jo...
