Seven Buttons Designs: June 2014

http://sevenbuttonsdesigns.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html

Wednesday, June 25, 2014. I am sorry for the silence on the blog front recently! I've been sewing a lot of muslins, and most of them have been waders. Womp womp. On top of that, my poor machine is out to get me. Hopefully I'll be able to find my sewing mojo! There are a few projects that have yet to be blogged, but next week will be a photo shoot marathon! I promise there are some good outfits coming your way soon. Stay tuned! Wednesday, June 25, 2014. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Seven Buttons Designs: May 2014

http://sevenbuttonsdesigns.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html

Saturday, May 31, 2014. Here is the dress you've all been waiting for. I finally managed to get some pictures! This dress is so fun to wear, because it is so full and swishy! I had to resist the urge to spin in circles all night. Everybody needs a swishy dress in their wardrobe. Does anybody else feel really awkward when they pose like this? I get super nervous that I'm going to accidentally flash some poor passerby. Also, can we take a moment to talk about how great my hair looks? Saturday, May 31, 2014.

Seven Buttons Designs: January 2015

http://sevenbuttonsdesigns.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html

Wednesday, January 14, 2015. I'm here to share the first finished project of 2015- my Acorn Trail sweater! This is Amy Herzog's Acorn Trail pattern. This pattern has been on my list of favourites on Ravelry for quite a while. I finally decided to take the plunge and start it, and I'm so glad that I did! It was my first Amy Herzog pattern, and I really love the way it was written. It was really easy to follow the pattern, and everything went together perfectly. What are you guys working on right now?

Seven Buttons Designs: November 2014

http://sevenbuttonsdesigns.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html

Monday, November 3, 2014. Well, Halloween has come and gone, and in the hubbub, I forgot to write a blog post about my halloween sewing! Better late than never I suppose? A while back, one of my friends approached me about doing some sewing for her Halloween costume. She told me that she wanted to be a mermaid, and sent me a few pictures for inspiration. I was super excited to work on this, cause I LOVE making costumes. I didn't want to mess with closures in the back, so I made it with ties like a bikini...

Seven Buttons Designs: Excuses, Excuses

http://sevenbuttonsdesigns.blogspot.com/2015/03/excuses-excuses.html

Tuesday, March 17, 2015. I am so sorry for the silence around here. I've been dealing with some health issues for the past few months which have left me exhausted and stuck in bed or on the couch. I'm slowly working my way back to health, and I promise there will be some new, exciting posts soon! I've been " Instagram-ing. Fairly regularly, so if you'd like to keep up with me there, feel free. I also try to update my Ravelry. Projects page, so you can keep an eye on what I'm currently working on.

Introducing my homesewn lace trim shorts | The Eclectic Seamstress

https://theeclecticseamstress.wordpress.com/2014/06/10/introducing-my-homesewn-lace-trim-shorts

Stitching my way between France and Norway. Introducing my homesewn lace trim shorts. June 10, 2014. By The Eclectic Seamstress. So off I went and sewed some shorts, adding a little twist by sewing a lace trim. This all makes it sound like it took no more 2 hours, but it actually took… 20. (I’m really beating records here, and this is not because I’m a slow sewing advocate, just because I’m still hopeless). Here we go, introducing my lace-trimmed shorts:. So, what do you say? Anna is a Barcelona based yo...

Stitching my way between France and Norway. Monthly Archives: June 2014. Colour block Polly Top. June 17, 2014. By The Eclectic Seamstress. Prepare your eyes and grab a pair of sunglasses, as you’re about to be blinded by a flash of neon orange…. Ouch, I hope you are not all colourblind by now…. As you can see, I made a tank top and went crazy on the neon orange. The challenge of this project was to combine (i) my eagerness to do something with neon and (ii) my need to source a project manageable by a be...

Stitching my way between France and Norway. May 6, 2014. By The Eclectic Seamstress. Welcome to my blog! I’m Charlotte, a French girl, dividing my time between France and Norway. I am learning how to sew, enjoying every minute of it and now eager to blog about it! This blog is entitled. Because I love sewing very different things, and also have numerous interests beside sewing which I will most probably post about, such as DIYing, travelling, attending cultural exhibitions etc. I hope you enjoy this blog...

Contemporary Sri Lankan Architecture. Traditional Sri Lankan Architecture. Haiku . of sorts. Tuesday, July 29, 2014. Sydney monorail - no more. Monorail has seen by many, especially architects and architectural students as the epitome modern, clean, sustainable public transport systems. And as a must for any 'sophisticated' city. But they failed to evolve beyond their city symbol image in to some thing more useful and affordable. This is what the Mayor of Sydney has to say about it. Links to this post.

One Bus to India, Please! October 10, 2016. October 10, 2016. But what did happen was a heart-felt family reunion. While living in Saudi Arabia from 2014-2015, I was richly blessed to be adopted into the Grace Outreach Riyadh church family. Being thousands of miles away from family was a definitely a challenge, but I was honored to be loved on from such an incredible tribe. Continue reading “One Bus to India, Please! September 26, 2016.
