Just a recap of notes for the end of the day. Morning: “ Sleep. 8220; Eric Whitacre. Afternoon: “ The Only Living Boy in New York. 8220; Simon and Garfunkel. These songs were chosen as a prelude to next week. We shall be focusing on song, next week. In both examples, the composers do not use a typical form or form that we’ve covered thus far.
