Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Last Wednesday we got MORE ice and snow but, thankfully, not as much as the previous two ice storms. It was enough to keep UPS and the mail from running out here, but no more damage to our home, or the area, and the power never went out.YaY! And now we are finally getting a relief from the winter weather! I finished another dishcloth and was finally able to get it soaked in vinegar water to set the red and got a pic of it to share. It is a motor route and takes about 4 1/2 hours to complete. We realized right away that this is really a two person job. He drives and I put the papers in the boxes. We deliver in the general area where we live. It is fun to see what's new in our little neck of the woods. Come and join us. Country roads and wildflowers.

So off to Vegas we went. Where we enjoyed some of this. And some time with this one. In the end I am not sure it was really much of a break. Vegas is always, well, hectic. The Art of 50. Sunday, October 7, 2012. Yes It is now seven days into the month and I am finally blogging. About the month of October. In most places around the country October means the leaves have changed color and there is the first bite of a frost in the air. In Arizona it means that the thermometer might finally dip below 100, and I put an emphasis on the word "might". There have been some years where we were almost three weeks into October before we saw the end of 100 degree days. Not fun.
