College Writing Seminar Blog: shake it like you mean it demonboy
http://joshoffsie.blogspot.com/2007/02/shake-it-like-you-mean-it-demonboy.html
College Writing Seminar Blog. Saturday, February 10, 2007. Shake it like you mean it demonboy. Creepy. Just creepy. What kind of world do we live in that every immature pre-pubescent boy feels the need to run around toting gang slogans, racial slurs, and sexual innuendos on the internet? I think that these cultural deviations have been present throughout history - we have just finally achieved the technology that allows us to carry them out in a meaningful yet anonymous fashion. Giving up so soon?

The evolution of the traditional instrument is going to be an interesting one. The ability to manipulate the music without actually altering the construction of the instrument or augmenting it leaves open so many prospects at creating new sound. March 4, 2007 at 12:13 PM. Clare Shepherd: The Heart of the WELL
http://clareshepherd.blogspot.com/2007/02/heart-of-well.html
Saturday, February 24, 2007. The Heart of the WELL. This article made me question the effect of online relationships. The relationships he forms are clearly beneficial in some ways- he genuinely cares about the plight of a Himalayan nun, and he gets medical advice to help his daughter faster than he ever could through traditional means- and it would seem that he really comes to appreciate the WELL as a separate community. But does this mean that his other relationships were hurt in the process?

Web Log of Higher Education. Sunday, January 28, 2007. Although I liked the Johnny Mnemonic story better (I love that kind of writing style where things aren’t really explained “cyberpunk”, of what have you- like A Clockwork Orange. I had more to say about this story- sorry it ended up so long- please comment with your thoughts. The complete isolation and indirect observation of it all reminds me of scenes from the novel The Collector by John Fowles. The counterintuitive scene where Vashti gets angry wit...

I am not particularly sure what negative outcomes arise as a result of sexual awareness in younger children. They are limited by biological bounds to be relatively unaware until puberty. After this point, isn't some level of sexual awareness necessary for development? February 11, 2007 at 4:52 PM. Is it better that they do these things online than in real life? Youtube and Punk Kids.
