A family's fight for the cure. Its always there, lurking and waiting. The relentless, faceless enemy we run from everyday. We fight as best we can, and make progress, you are doing so well! We get to a point of acceptance, and go on with our daily lives. The fight becomes our focus, our mission, and just another part of our day. We feel genuine happiness, and a sense of accomplishment. This is our reality, this is what we do. But how long will it last? How long can we keep It at bay?

On October 25th, 2003 we will host the 5th Annual Charity Ball at the Hyatt in Deerfield, IL. The event features a wonderful. Silent auction and live entertainment. I have eight flourescent lights in my 1st grade classroom, and I bought one set of these tranquil blue light filters to try in my room last year. (The store only had one package in stock.) I have looked everywhere for another set, because they made such a difference! I plan to get some for the social worker, and principals office. Light filters set a relaxing atmosphere for learning!
