The Traci Chronicles: May 2015
http://thetracichronicles.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 21, 2015. The 8 Hour Graduation Party! Our weekend was super busy. When I got back to Baton Rouge Saturday I had a few errands to run. When I finally got home I HAD to take a nap. We had a graduation party to go to at 5:00. I knew it had the potential to go late. I had no idea just how late. I'm really glad I managed to get in that nap. There was a ton of Cuban food. Allie and Anna's mom is Cuban. It was so good! They have these often and there are several "routines" that are just hilarious!

The Traci Chronicles: April 2015
http://thetracichronicles.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 27, 2015. I'm still sick. Needless to say that led to a pretty dull weekend. I made it to the LSU game Saturday, which they lost. So that was fun. We had dinner at Caliente so that was good. Today we had severe weather warnings. About 9:00 we all started getting alerts on our phones to "seek shelter". This picture was taken from LSU's Athletic Building around 9:30 am. It looked like it was the middle of the night for awhile. It was so dark! Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Ugh There was an after ...

The Traci Chronicles: January 2015
http://thetracichronicles.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 29, 2015. I may be crazy but I did something that I wanted to do this year but couldn't. Tuesday morning I got up early and did a weight workout. It's been awhile and now I'm sore. Awhile back I bought these at Trader Joe's. This is what Dean likes to call an experimental item. They are really good! Plop it frozen in a skillet and 5 mins. later it's done. It taste like chicken but it's like a burger. The best part is it's 150 calories. I'll definitely buy them again. This morning I got ...

The Traci Chronicles: June 2015
http://thetracichronicles.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 30, 2015. I'm sitting here listening to the thunder. I can't see the rain because it's so dark outside it looks like it's the middle of the night. I'm tired of rain. I think it's rained every day for like 2 weeks. Awhile back we ordered shirts for the Wine and Dine Half Marathon at Disney. We got the shirts last week. This is the back. Do you see the wine glass? I think they turned out so cute! They have a lot of sales too. I got this Kendra Scott bracelet half price last week. It rained a ...

Thursday, May 31, 2012. It's time to share my package of goodies from my May Foodie Penpal! My box was sent to me. By Toni from runninglovingliving.com. Toni sent me a box filled with snacks ready to eat. Just like last month, I dug in right away. I have no idea how she stayed under the $15 limit.apparently she's quite the savvy grocery shopper! Once again, I was horrible about taking pictures, I have this one of the whole stash. One of my favorite items was the Bear Naked Fit vanilla almond crunch grano...

Running the Race: O come let us adore Him
http://jengemrun.blogspot.com/2013/12/o-come-let-us-adore-him.html
Sunday, December 22, 2013. O come let us adore Him. Every year the Christmas story is the same- a young virgin, confused husband and a tiny little baby born in a manger- no room in the inn. This year my bible study mentor/teacher asked us to take a fresh look at the story about the birth of Jesus. As we sung the contemporary Christmas hymns at church this morning, the lyrics to "Joy to the World" spoke deep to my heart. O come let us adore Him. To worship or honor as a deity or as divine. Lindsay's ...

Injury prone, mid to back of packer just tri-ing to get to the finish line in one piece! Sunday, June 1, 2014. Bountiful Baskets - A Fruit and Veggie Co-Op. A few months ago Steve's running buddy Ben turned us on to a little known co-op called Bountiful Baskets. It is a not for profit fruit and veggie co-op that eliminates the middle man - aka your local grocery store so you get more for less. A full explanation of the program can be found HERE. It kind of freaks me out. The Baskets - 1 veggie and 1 fruit.
