Especially during dry season, the Nigerians cross this river at this point. But so many of them lose their flip flops. I know this looks like debris and junk, but it is really all flip flops. Some people are fishing for flip flops and trying to find ones that match. So instead of Lava Falls, some people call it Flip Flop Falls.

This is my caddy. She was awesome and totally knew what clubs I needed. That is probably why I played so well. I don't know how she wasn't dying from the heat. A view of Chiang Mai behind my parents. I couldn’t really get a good picture of what this looks like really, but we are on the “bypass.” The road is paved up until this point and then it just ends where you see that little cliff. Then the paved road picks up again on the other side. It at least keeps us on our toes. There is no sleeping at the wheel.not much sleeping in the backseat either. Bummer!
