http://cookingwiththecampbells.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 22, 2013. Next month my baby boy turns TWO! Sunday, April 21, 2013. So, as many of you know I left full-time public school teaching at the end of the last school year. I knew when I left that I would not come back to teach in that environment. There were many reasons for my departure:. Blog In fact, I am thinking of taking down the blog. I can do a lot more through my Facebook. Page and it seems as though more people follow me there than on my blog or Twitter. Anyways, I'm excited about...

Friday, December 6, 2013. November is always a hard month for me filled with ups and downs. The beginning of the month is hard because it marks the anniversary (is that the right word? Scoring a parking Groupon for $35. This is seriously awesome considering how much it costs us to park our car while we're gone. The downside was that the lot was not well-lit and the company was kinda shady. They picked us up in a limo when we returned from Philly. Going to the liquor store with my family members! Going to...

Soup Kitchen: June 2013
http://cookingwiththecampbells.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 20, 2013. Once a week, I try to cook a meatless meal for my family. This usually occurs on Monday (thanks, Foodbabe. But I'm happy just to get it in one day a week. The end of May and the beginning of June was a roller-coaster time for our family. We experienced many highs and lows. We had visitors, we traveled, we cried and we celebrated. We also ate a lot of fast food. We ate a lot of bad food at restaurants. We ate a lot of junk food at home. I went to the doctor on Wednesday and I've a...

Rundell Ramblings: August 2011
http://rundellramblings.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 3 August 2011. Days since we got married (and a few, but I'm not going to bother calculating that). We've had a great first year of marriage and are looking forward to many more. I'm going to try. To upload a sort of year in pictures thing, but I'm not sure how well the internet will go for that. July 31st 2010 - we got married! August 2010 - wonderful honeymoon in Corfu. September 2010 - started at All Nations Christian College. January 2011 included some fairly cold, although beautiful, walks.

Rundell Ramblings: Writing down languages for the first time
http://rundellramblings.blogspot.com/2012/10/writing-down-languages-for-first-time.html
Saturday, 20 October 2012. Writing down languages for the first time. Here in Mpanda, we've just had a workshop to create our first experimental rules for writing down the Bende and Pimbwe languages. I (Olly) was working with the Bende language. Means 'hunters', the root is. This activity helps you work out all the consonants in the language which, along with other steps, is the foundation for making a good alphabet. As well as looking at things like consonants, vowels and vowel length, a significant fea...

Sunday, October 13, 2013. How I Know We're Soulmates. 1 We both love old homes. 2 We both love the terrible-twos. The terrible twos are terrible most days, but it's because there is a lot of learning going on. Learning on our part and Joely's. We love watching him learn something or figure out something. We love watching him attempt to be independent. This really is a magical age. 3 We believe in relevant consequences. 4 We love discounts. 5 We realize we're works in progress. Soup Kitchen: February 2013
http://cookingwiththecampbells.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 3, 2013. I decided to provide some updates on Joel since he has changed so much in the past months and weeks. As much as I want to keep him a little baby, he reminds me that he's determined to be a little boy. 3 Joel refuses to use his "baby" flatware when eating. He now uses the same forks and spoons that mommy and daddy use to eat. 4 Joel loves to dance. I mean he dances anytime music plays. His dancing consists of stomping his feet, but it's still dancing. 5 Joel is in the toddler gro...

Soup Kitchen: November 2013
http://cookingwiththecampbells.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 9, 2013. That evening we attended one of the high school's interactive performance of HalloWonderland. Then we went to Raising Cane's for dinner to support the high school's student council. He was running around like a crack head! Saturday night we attended a Halloween party of Murad's old co-worker. We ate well and came home late that night, but guess who was up at 4:45am on daylight savings day: Joel Soup! You win some; you lose some! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Murad and I love foo...
