Robin Made It

Thursday, February 2, 2012. Panko Crusted Salmon over Swiss Chard Quinoa. Inspired by watching the Barefoot Contessa and wanting to make use of some of the goodies from my 1/20 Urban Acres. Haul, I came up with this delicious combo! The panko crusted salmon is 100% Ina Garten, and the recipe can be found here. For the quinoa, I wanted a creative way to use the Swiss chard I had in my basket. Here's the Robin original recipe:. 1 tbs olive oil. 1 onion, chopped fine. 1/2 tsp. pepper. 1/2 cup white wine.

Robin Made It: August 2010

http://www.robinmadeit.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Tuesday, August 24, 2010. So, a coworker of Mike's made this for a pot luck they had at the office, and it was so good I had to get the recipe so I could make it myself. Usually I like to screw around with recipes to make them even better, but I seriously don't think this can be improved. It is fluffy, sweet and cheesy and turns out really moist - I think it's the sour cream. This is a must-try recipe, and will be great with chili when it's not 105 degrees outside. 2 boxes Jiffy cornbread mix.

Saturday, April 24, 2010. Allrecipes.com: Banana Muffins II. We had a bunch of bananas that were on the verge of going bad, so I decided that I wanted to make some banana muffins to use them up. I found this recipe. Com, and I figured that the four and a half star rating probably made it worth trying. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Saturday, May 15, 2010. Everyday Food: Beer-Braised Sausages and Warm Potato Salad. Is my favorite recipe right now. We've been eating it once a week for a couple of months now. It's really inexpensive, and REALLY yummy. Since we've been making it so much, I've found a couple of things that I think make it even better. First of all, we always use either chicken sausage or turkey sausage. They work really well, and don't dry out at all. I like mild Italian in this recipe. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Brant Family Blog. Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Peek-a-boo - Best game ever? Saturday, April 24, 2010. Fun in the bath. Miller has recently decided that taking a bath is the funnest thing ever. Here he is geeking out this morning. Friday, April 16, 2010. This is Miller's new trick, where he drops food in his bib, then just tips it back and dumps it in his mouth. He then proceeds to laugh at himself, because he is so amused. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). No Pizza For Mom…. Am I doing this write?

The Brant Family Blog. Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Miller in the Bluebonnets. We wouldn't be Texas parents if we didn't make our little boy do this, would we? This is mostly what Miller wanted to do, walk around and touch all of the flowers. And by touch, I mean pick and throw. I call this one, little boy, big ol' field. Adventure boy loves to have Mike throw him up in the air. Have you ever seen a little boy look happier? Me and my little man. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). No Pizza For Mom….

The Brant Family Blog: Miller goes to the zoo

http://robinbrant.blogspot.com/2011/04/miller-goes-to-zoo.html

The Brant Family Blog. Thursday, April 14, 2011. Miller goes to the zoo. So, we've decided that taking Miller to the zoo is pretty much the most fun way to spend an afternoon with him. He just loves all the animals, and has so much fun running around and exploring. Here he is hanging with daddy in front of the elephants. In most of the pictures we tried to take, he's wiggling around trying to look at the animals! His first ride on a horse, which he thought was pretty much the greatest thing ever.

The Brant Family Blog: August 2011

http://robinbrant.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html

The Brant Family Blog. Thursday, August 11, 2011. So, as previously established, I am the worst blogger ever. But here is a quick catch-up on what's going on with the Brant fam this summer. In early summer, we spent quite a bit of time at the zoo. Miller loves giving the Gorilla statue a hug. What a sweet boy. He also still loves feeding the giraffes. Although he did get nipped at one trip, which completely freaked him out. Luckily, he'd forgotten about it by the next time we went. No Pizza For Mom….

The Brant Family Blog. Friday, June 11, 2010. This Baby Was Made For Walking. Whoa Apparently Miller has finally decided that he's ready to walk. We are in trouble! Monday, June 7, 2010. Mike, Miller and I (and Vince and Sadie too), had an awesome Memorial Day weekend hanging out at my mom's lake house while mom and Chuck vacationed in Southwest Texas. Jen and Tom came and joined us for a night (and Raj for a couple of hours on Sunday), and it was great to be able to spend time with them. Panko Crusted S...

The Brant Family Blog: September 2010

http://robinbrant.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html

The Brant Family Blog. Monday, September 20, 2010. Miller just went in for his 18-month check-up with Dr. D last week, and he's weighing a little over 30 lbs! He's still 75% for height and 95% for head size. His 30 lbs puts him up to 90% for weight, but I think a lot of that is due to his huge noggin'. Miller has turned into a total dare-devil, unlike his mom. He loves going down the slide at the park, doing somersaults, getting thrown up in the air - anything that is an adventure.
