I cut up an old tablecloth that I never use and stitched it onto the back of the old tree skirt, used binding around the edges and it was an instant new (and free) tree skirt! 124; 3 Comments. But by Thursday he was looking so much better that Dr W called to tell my I could pick him up on Friday and that we would have to give him IV fluids everyday and force feed him with a syringe. Living To Be 100. Aim at heaven and you will get earth thrown in. Aim at earth and you get neither. I say, aim at longevity of life and you will get strength, good health, and enjoyment thrown in. Aim at simply losing a few pounds or fitting into last year’s jeans and you will likely get none of those things. Not sure if I will make it to 100 or not but I will make a good go of it and at whatever age my life ceases I want to be able to say I passed with strength in my members and my wits about me.

Wednesday, November 18, 2009. 40 weeks and 2 days. I'm measuring 39 1/2 inches around and gained a total of 22 lbs over the last 40 weeks! Thomas's estimated weight is 6 lbs 11 oz. he's so little! Dr Billue said that I am still at 2 cm dilated, 50% effaced, and -1 station. NO CHANGE FROM LAST WEEK! He did have some wonderful words of encouragment for us. He said Thomas and Mommy are doing great, to hang in there, go walking, and induce on Monday! More updates to come. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Monday, October 5, 2009. Things are moving right along at our home these days. Matt and I have been preparing for the upcoming arrival of Thomas in 6 weeks from today! Well, I can't give us all the credit because my parents and my aunt have been tons of help! Here are a few pics of the room so far. there are a few things we still need but things are coming together really well! Can anyone recommend some things that I might need in the his room or just in general for a new baby? I LOVE the colors!

Thursday, October 29, 2009. Matt and I went to the Dr. yesterday for my 37 week check up. Thomas and mom are doing great and making some progress! I am 1 cm dilated, his head is down in a good position. BUT my cervix is still thick. A cervix that is thin and soft is what we are looking for here. I have gained a total of 21 lbs, which I think is super fantastic! I am working up until my due date but it is getting really hard. Can anyone imagine working 12 hours as a nurse on their feet the whole night?

Wednesday, September 23, 2009. His name shall be called. Me and Matt had a great time picking out different names that we individually liked but we finally decided to go with family names. Thomas is my dad's middle name and Wiley is Matt's great grandfather's first name. We don't know much about Wiley but we really liked the name. I am very excited to use my dad's name because he is so special to me. I hope his name goes well with his great looks! I can't wait to see what Thomas will look like?
