Caramel filled chocolate cookies. 1 cup white sugar. 1 cup packed brown sugar. 1 cup butter, softened. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract. 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1 teaspoon baking soda. 26 chocolate covered caramel candies. 1 tablespoon white sugar. 1 cup white chocolate chips. Random thoughts from me. Friday, September 26, 2008. Half done with surgery. Well my dear old Dad is all plugged up and needs 4 stents put in his arteries. On monday, he had 2 of them put in. He had a few complications and a lot of pain but when I spoke to him today he said he could tell there was a difference in how he felt from before the surgery and now. :) That is such good news! Random thoughts from me. Tuesday, October 14, 2008. Happy Birthday to my Dad! So, my last post was only a minute ago but still, I need to wish my Dad a Happy Birthday today! He's turning 21 again! Wink* He may not be having the happiest of days due to what happened yesterday and what he witnessed but I still love him and wish him the best. I talked to him last night (after midnight his time) and checked to see if he was ok. I said "Seeing as what happened today, how are you doing? Awww I just love my dad!

Saturday, November 29, 2014. First Snow of the Season. With much annoyance I welcome the first snow of the season. Nim was very surly in it this morning so it was hard to get photos. He did not like the heavy rain yesterday at all, so this snow is a welcome changed for him and made him playful. Since I am home bound I might put a binding on this quilt today. Thursday, October 30, 2014. Love, Gypsy, Maggie and Nim. This is probably one of my top holidays and I feel like I have done nothing.not even black nail polish! Last weekend mom and I took the pups out for photos and a little early Halloween celebrating. First, we went to PetSmart. They all got their matching costumes there. Nim's head part wouldn't fit over his big giant head and neck. And Maggie wouldn't stop talking about her feelings. Nim was a little confused. Gypsy, well. It is hard being Gypsy.

Random thoughts from me. Wednesday, December 10, 2008. I'm home. what a week. Ok so, I went into the ER with abdominal pain on my right side. The pain was in between my ribs and hip bone. not ovaries and not under my ribs. I meet with a dr in there and he tells me he wants to do a pelvic exam on me. WHAT? I come in with appendix issues an you want to put your hands where? My pain is no where DOWN THERE! I went from the ER to the operating room. So, yes I had my cell phone with me. rofl! I woke up to them...

Monday, November 3, 2014. Minnesota Quilt show in June. This year Haley and I both entered quilts into the Minnesota Quilt Show. They have a Children's division that Haley entered her quilt in. She has worked on it for several years at the retreat we go to. We had a great time seeing all the quilts in St. Cloud. Haley and her four patch quilt. Tuesday, July 12, 2011. Not being able to get pictures posted stopped me from posting. NOT today though. Typing out my thoughts is healthy and.fun. So, I'm baaa-aaack. I've been quilting a LOT and I WILL have son #3 help me get some pictures up when he's back from camp. He and 3 of his siblings are away this week.
