Clover Ledge Farm: June 2013
http://standardbredexcellence.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
160;Clover Ledge Farm. Friday, June 28, 2013. This past weekend, June 23, I attended the Friesian Events Association. Benefit Horse Show. I like this show for many reasons, most of all because this organization donates money from their shows to different causes. This year the show was to benefit a woman from NY who recently was in a bad carriage driving accident and has tons of medical bills. They were able to donate a total of $2000 to her! Dreamy and I did very well and had a great day! 2nd out of five.

The Continuing Adventures of the Very Large Colt! Just another WordPress.com weblog. It’s like this. This is my big yellow money vacuum:. I’m not useless! I’m holding up this bird! Show Ticket, from my last post, got adopted to a dressage home in Oregon. They love her and she is doing wonderfully! Healed up a LOT better than any of us ever anticipated! And all without seeing the inside of a vet hospital. Total cost was about $1100. Ribs, ribs, go away! Yes, a shorter, calmer, but just as snuggly version ...

For as long as I can remember, I’ve struggled with my weight. I can’t say that it was that very moment when my self-perception changed, but that’s one of my earliest memories of being aware of my body in a less-than-carefree way. Me, August 2003, about 150 lbs. I’m not shy about the numbers that appear on the scale and share them easily&...

Searching for Second Level. An exercise in reflection, progression, and communication. The magic behind the title. January 5, 2013. By A E. Miller. In Body and Soul. I’ve got a list possible topics to write about, but I want to start this blog in a semi-coherent way so I thought I would write my next post to explain why I picked the title “Searching for Second Level.”. I’m always waiting for. Also, that title reminded me of great line in my Netflix series d’jour,. I should keep track of my progress with ...

Show prep begins… | Searching for Second Level

Searching for Second Level. An exercise in reflection, progression, and communication. Show prep begins…. May 31, 2013. By A E. Miller. In one week, I will be waking up early to finish packing, bring the dogs to the boarders, head to the barn, bathe my horse, pack my barn gear, load, trailer, unload, and finally settle into the show grounds. It’s a lot of work in one day, but the above is still just a taste of what needs to be done in a short amount of time. Note the storm clouds in the background….
