My purpose is to make my narrative as truthful as possible." G. A. Custer. June 23, 2010. Disable Current Line Highlighting in Visual Studio 2010. Visual Studio 2010 Pro Power Tools. Current Line Highlighting is enabled. This is alright for some, but it causes frustration when trying to view parenthesis, bracket and brace boundaries. Below is a screenshot of a program with the current line highlighting turned on. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Wishes everyone a sunny and productive summer.

Nice (5/31-6/1): A Cosmopolitan Campaign. Image courtesy of Munford. Nice was nice," as the typical response goes. Actually it was pretty awesome. The train ride there sucked though because, once again, I hardly slept. But the 26ish hours of sleep I grabbed in Paris carried me through the next day. We left the hostel and wandered around Nice for a while, checking out the St. Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral. Katharina was staying at a hostel that had an outdoor area in front so we headed there to hang out and...

I don't really have anything specific to write about today but there are a lot of questions floating around in my head that I would like to get down somewhere. 1 What is reputation, why does it matter, and how much should we care about it? 2 In regards to #1, what is privacy and how does it affect our lives. Where does it's importance lie and how should it be protected? I'm probably not going to even attempt to speculate on this one. At least not without doing some research first.). I think I am actually...

I'm finally plugged back into the Lifestream and halfway settled in my summer abode, so it's finally time for another wordy and rambling post. First of all while browsing through the AM stations trying to find something interesting, I was surprised how poorly most of them came in. The only ones that came in really clear were either sports stations or evangelical Christian preachers. I did manage for short spurts of time to tune into a few politically oriented stations. So apologies for the three rapid po...

Aside: This is the triumphant return of my blog, so expect more frequent updates in the future. We'll see how long I can keep this up before it dies again. I recently started running (again) and have resumed a practice that I found refreshing and useful a few months ago. "Meditating", or clearing your mind, while running is an interesting and fun exercise. I first started thinking about it when reading about walking meditation. Then I ran across a post. They'll try to keep us apart,. The bigots and the fools. A tyranny on the heart. Through misguided laws and rules. You and I both know the facts,. That we love each other more than life. We will weather these ignorant attacks. And I will have you for my wife. I will wipe away your oily tears. As they streak down your metal cheeks. They say that robots know no fears…. We'll find out in the coming weeks. Or maybe I should just give up this passionate vow. You wouldn't want to marry a human anyhow.

Music, Sweet Music I Wish I Could Caress. I have tried a number of things over the last few years to help cope with these sessions when they occur, some more successful than others. There are also a few things I have yet to try that I would like to, but have been too afraid. Many of these things you can find on most depression help sites, but I wanted to share my personal experience. Reactive Things I've tried. I have always been sort of an independent, and probably arrogant, person. So when I consid...

You can't be somebody you're not". Here's my question: Why? Being yourself until not being yourself becomes part of your self. Yeah that sentence sucked but hopefully you get my point. Let's look at a few other phrases that might pop up at certain points:. You're just not our type". Why do you always have to be such a dick? Now if any of those statements were made in your direction, you could respond with "But I'm just being myself" and everything would be OK, right? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Finch and the Sparrow. A finch was flying around town one day and spotted a sparrow sitting in a cage just inside of an open window. Now, this finch was a bright bird and just happened to know how to handle such cages. She flew up to the cage and opened the latch with a flourish saying,. I have rescued you, sir sparrow, you can fly freely to your heart's desire and explore what this wonderful world has to offer you.". The outside world is dangerous. I will die if I free myself! What it was like to fl...

Cinque Terre (6/4-6/5): Lost in the Woods. Image courtesy of ezioma. Was one of the destinations I was most looking forward to before my trip began. I was super pumped for doing some hiking and had heard about the beautiful trails with gorgeous views of the coast line. I had booked a hostel in the small village of Riomaggiore. Riomaggiore (courtesy of Brian Pennington. Farther up the hill I came across a sanctuary/cloister area, which I believe was the. Nostra Signora di Reggio. Eventually we came to the...
