Life on the redneck riviera. Monday, May 19, 2014. Someone took my double dog dare ya.and ran with it.I know it's not pink, but it kills just the same. This front door's makeover, however, has been quite the project.It's taking days to get years of crusty old paint off. It will be worth it. The blue stone patio is done. Now the screened porch construction can start. Loving the strap light. ( and the dark green doors with brass hardware ). The stair railing is lovely in Benjamin Moore's Floral White.

They have quite the selection of shades and other furnishings, however, I decided to purchase mine from OKA. It's a lovely dark black/brown with cream, pale green and orange/yellow highlights on raw silk. If you decide to bring one over, be aware that they set up their lamps differently than we do. 15 later I had something that would support my new shade.

That would be akin to winning the lottery. These fellas will set you back a cool $6490.00. But I'm getting ahead of myself. The Home Decorators catalog was on top and had flopped open. I noticed it right away. You can see it on the table to the right. It looks very similar to many of my lamp fantasies. Blue / Orange / Gray / Black / Red.
