http://jenlovesfreestuff.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Jen loves Free Stuff. Monday, October 24, 2011. I’ve been wearing the same brand deodorant for YEARS now. It works for me, no need to make a change. But I was given the opportunity to try out the Natural Crystal Body Deodorant Roll-On and liked it well enough. . I on the other hand didn’t mind the change. I hadn’t used a roll-on ever before and found it just fine. It didn’t make a mess on my clothes which was important for me. I don’t sweat a lot (a...All opinions expressed are my own and may vary f...

Jen loves Free Stuff. Monday, September 24, 2012. Homeschooling–one month in (part 1). The number one question I get these days is: “How is homeschooling going? 8221; (Either that or “Mom, can I have more milk? 8221;-seriously, they drink a lot of milk these days…what is it going to be like when they are teenagers? 160; Maybe it would be less expensive to buy a cow! But back to the real topic – I am enjoying homeschooling. . For Grammar we are using First Language Lessons. I’m teaching him piano l...

Monday, June 24, 2013. Somehow I let three months pass without a single blog post. I am trying to rectify that by posting condensed versions of what we have been up to for the last several months. Nothing Clever Here: February 2013
http://borchfam.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 18, 2013. Last Friday it was 65 degrees. I went for a jog. The next day it snowed. Hard. For about an hour or two. It wasn't enough for anything to get cancelled (what a waste! But we did get enough snow to throw snowballs for Weezer to catch in his mouth (just like the old days) and build a tiny snowman. The last time it snowed Baby Sister was actually a baby - about four months old. Baby Sister asked me today when the snow would come back. I told her when she was four :(. The day befor...

Thursday, October 17, 2013. First day of school. Brad, Karen, Babies, and Dogs. We signed the kids up for the Splash n' Dash again this year. They actually held three separate events this summer and the one closest to our house was one day after Baby Sister's third birthday so she got to participate too. The whole thing was that he just wanted her medal, he didn't really care if he won the race or not - actually he thinks he won anyway. Here are some non-crying pictures :). Monday, October 8, 2012. Since Friday was our last full day there, we decided to spend as much time at the beach as possible. Brad and I agreed that this was the best beach day we have ever had. The water was still a bit chilly, but calm. It was overcast but warm so it was just one of those days that you wanted to be outside as long as you could. And then had a picnic in the park. Then we said our goodbye's and headed for home. It was a great trip and I hope we get to do it again someday. Can anyone be s...

I am passionate about creating in a way that puts history and soul into my products. By using pre-loved items that already have a story in many of my creations, it is my hope to unite the connection between past and present in a way that resonates with people. I believe that with each item I am given the opportunity to bring a new story along for the ride and to celebrate that history.

Prairie Mama; Back On The Prairie
Tuesday, December 27, 2011. Dear Meemaw and Grampa,. Mama is so busy right now, so I thought I would help her out by writing you about Christmas. As you know, this was my first Christmas. At first I didn't understand what the big deal was. Mama was in the kitchen a lot more and she was busy putting things in her mouth. The big kids were too and I kept wanting some, but no one would give me anything but puffs. Even though I like those, the brown things looked yummier. You know my Dad? Yep, Libby. Girl...
