Stitching Between the Lines: January 2015
http://stitchingbetweenthelines.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Stitching Between the Lines. The things I stitch and the books I read. Crazy January Challenge 2011. Friday, January 30, 2015. Sewing in sunny Florida. Besides remodeling the kitchen I aim to stitch and stitch and stitch some more. My plan is to focus on this. I started Keep the Spirit by Debbie Mumm several years ago. I've always liked it and only set it aside because it is big and cumbersome. I was having trouble working on the dark blue in the evening, too. Tuesday, January 27, 2015. One of the best f...

Stitching Between the Lines: Summer means
http://stitchingbetweenthelines.blogspot.com/2015/07/summer-means.html
Stitching Between the Lines. The things I stitch and the books I read. Crazy January Challenge 2011. Monday, July 13, 2015. Lots of time for projects. I've written before about setting summer-time goals. About how I used to encourage my kids to set some and how they looked at me like I had two heads. Lucky girl, I know. So, when I have lots of finishes to post don't wonder how I 'do it all'. This is the easy stuff. As for goals.I am still trying to work my way through projects left in limbo&#...I made th...

Stitching Between the Lines: June 2015

Stitching Between the Lines. The things I stitch and the books I read. Crazy January Challenge 2011. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Anyone with one won't ever ask but others feel free. They say things like:. What will you ever do with all this? My answer is usually the same.when the next 40 days and 40 nights of rain come I'll be set. Who knew it would be put to the test this summer. I had to get out my flannel night gown and it's too cold for bare feet. I think it will be a non-summer for us this year. We will...

Stitching Between the Lines: Progress.
http://stitchingbetweenthelines.blogspot.com/2015/06/progress.html
Stitching Between the Lines. The things I stitch and the books I read. Crazy January Challenge 2011. Sunday, June 28, 2015. I did finish one little cross stitch months after starting it. Holiday Surprises by The Trilogy. I just made a little pillow. Nothing exciting. I did make a couple changes to the pattern. I used a couple buttons that look like presents. The toys that were meant to be stitched there were sort of creepy looking. I suspect it was only because they were so tiny. June 29, 2015 at 8:48 AM.

Stitching Between the Lines: July 2015

Stitching Between the Lines. The things I stitch and the books I read. Crazy January Challenge 2011. Friday, July 31, 2015. Pictures. Part II. Finally, pictures of the rest of my finishes. It's a general mish-mash of items. I made two charity baby quilts. Neither is terribly exciting. I had a variety of pink fabrics that were smaller squares than I usually keep. 4 1/4. An odd size that seemed wasteful to cut down to the sizes I normally keep. I also finished July's A Year In Chalk. I have a few more WIPs...

Stitching Between the Lines. The things I stitch and the books I read. Crazy January Challenge 2011. Monday, April 27, 2015. Want some salad with that quilt? This past winter I did a trunk show and spoke about preparing your quilt for long arm quilting. The main point was.you get back what you give. If you give your quilter a wonky quilt.you will get back a wonky quilt. I am not going to explain how-to.but I am going to show you what a 'lettuce leaf border' looks like. Over all.I love the quilt. ...Also,...

Stitching Between the Lines: December 2014

Stitching Between the Lines. The things I stitch and the books I read. Crazy January Challenge 2011. Tuesday, December 30, 2014. December's 'Another Year of Schnibbles' was not a Schnibbles but ' Mini Shine' by Sherri. I love the regular size Shine.even bought the pattern the minute it was released. I haven't made it yet but that's beside the point. You can see the parade of Schnibbles on either of these blogs. Mine will appear on Sinta's Pink Pinchushion blog. See how handy those little clips are? Can't...

Stitching Between the Lines: Unusual birthday tradition?
http://stitchingbetweenthelines.blogspot.com/2015/07/unusual-birthday-tradition.html
Stitching Between the Lines. The things I stitch and the books I read. Crazy January Challenge 2011. Friday, July 3, 2015. It's funny how a tradition comes to be. One year I bought a cute little water theme Lego set to use as a cake topper for Buttercup's birthday cake. When she saw it she said.best cake ever! You don't have to tell me twice. Now I keep my eyes out for the same sort of little Lego set. On to the furniture moving phase of my weekend as we pack up The Boy Wonder. July 3, 2015 at 4:26 PM.
