http://piecebypiecejewelry.blogspot.com/2009/11/womens-work-is-never-done.html
Tuesday, November 3, 2009. Women's Work is Never Done. I had meant to write last week when the excellent talk by Gerald Roy. Called "Women's Work is Never Done" was presented at the monthly Quilt Guild meeting. And you've joined the private Yahoo! Group, Jeff uploaded the shots he took at the meeting. If you're not, you'll just have to go to one of Gerald Roy's talks in person and see.). They came out darn cute, but soooo not me. I guess I'll have to let them sit in a box for a bit until either they ...

Piece by Piece Jewelry: November 2009
http://piecebypiecejewelry.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 16, 2009. Shiny, Quilty Jewelry. As you may have noticed from the blog, I've been working on quilting much more than I've been working on jewelry. Part of this is due to the fact that I've been participating in my local quilt guild. As web manager, but also part of it is due to the feeling that I am actually moving forward on many of my projects. Have no fear, however! Does it distract from the blocks, or does it unify the whole thing? Anyone who has an opinion on it, please let me know!

April 10, 2015. URBAN ARTSCAPE SAN FRANCISCO. Even though there are many hills in San Francisco, it is still a very walkable city. Walking allows you to see things like colorful street art that you might miss if you were driving or on public transit. These photos are from a day spent wandering through the Mission District, which is home to a vast amount of vibrant murals. Is one such project. 6 comments (add comment). February 27, 2015. Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Scrap Consumption Progress and July ALYoF. Goodness is seems like forever ago that I wrote up this post. About the need to use up fabric scraps and set a goal for July in the Lovely Year of Finishes group. The good news is that I've been able to do both :o). I really like the super pointy "arms" on this style of star. Many of these background fabrics represent the very last precious scraps of favorite fabrics. A great tutorial for a pillow-size version. This is the colorful coll...

March 1, 2015. AZULEJO = POLISHED STONE. One thing you can say for sure, is that the Portuguese know tile it is everywhere there! On a recent trip to Portugal, I was fascinated with the use of tile, not only in churches and ornate palaces, but also in ordinary houses, park seats, fountains, shops and even in metro stations. Tiles are not only used as decorations, but also as functional parts of the buildings themselves. While in Lisbon, I visited the Museu Nacional do Azulejo. 4 comments (add comment).
