Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Coffee helps you shit. I just found out that coffee actually helps us shit! I tried googling more information about it but couldn't find any concrete scientific reasons behind it. But there's lots of questions from all over the world asking why coffee makes you shit. After surfing more on the web. I realized that coffee ain't so bad after all. It may even help prolong life! From Coffee not a killer - and may protect women: study. And another article states that. It works for me.

Sunday, December 07, 2008. Our eyes deceive us. When I was taking the image processing module in my last semester, I learnt that our eyes are actually low pass filters. What this means is that from a far distance, we won't be noticing strong "edges" (e.g. pimples) from a person's face and we'll see people's face as clear and smooth. To put this to experiment, consider this 'optical illusion' I found on the web. When you look at this picture in a closer look you see Albert Einstein. Just enjoy the illusion.

Monday, December 08, 2008. I need a medic! Think weekends and public holidays are good? Not if you're sick! I think sick people can die during sundays and public holidays. All clinics and medical centres won't be open. Probably the only ones available are family clinics and general hospitals. Heck, even the National Healthcare Group (NHG) Instutions and Services are closed. This time, slightly smarter, I went to Guardian to purchase some antiseptic eye drops. Saturday, December 29, 2007. There has been a lot of family trips this month and I'm still lovin' it. As this is a very very long trip (19 - 25 Dec), I'll try to make it short. hehez. My trip is part of a tour group (gourmet grp) that comprises of 30 ppl including my mom, dad, alice, james, annie and ashley. Rosemary will be in sg to see his husband's family and Grace will be in Germany to visit the bf for xmas. The flight to taipei. We had 3 meals in the plane within that few hours. ugh! Monday, February 11, 2008. Chinese New Year 2008! This year round, the Chinese new year holiday is rather short. I only have the 30th (wed), chor 1 to chor 3 and will be going back on chor 4 (sunday). We had lunch and dinner together at home with more than abundant food.
