Peonies and Polaroids: Four weeks ago.
http://www.peoniesandpolaroids.com/2015/04/four-weeks-ago.html
Saturday, April 25, 2015. We are all in France, together. I don't quite believe it. It is the Spring Holiday so W&P have been off school for two weeks. I'm sick, I have a vile virus that has left me completely useless. I have done nothing for weeks. It has stopped being relaxing and started being stressful and depressing. It's asparagus season. I think asparagus is alright but I don't entirely understand it. All of France smells of wisteria and lilacs. Yeah, even roasted I just dont really get the excite...
Peonies and Polaroids: December 2014
http://www.peoniesandpolaroids.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 05, 2014. Kids, Christmas, Charity. He asked. 'Yes, but it's JUST SO SAD.' I wailed. I was 19 and still crying for the starving children of Africa. When I was in primary school I took part every year in the Shoebox Appeal. Remember those? Alongside a pamphlet of evangelical literature. Which. . . I have problems with. So that year I just did what I always do, donated money to Shelter. Want to start sowing the seed. I do. My questions for you are;. Did you take part in the Shoebox Appeal?
Peonies and Polaroids: May 2015

Tuesday, May 26, 2015. The girls are I were here and Nye was still in London and we missed him more than we ever imagined we would. W&P started school and I was worried about. I could possibly worry about – would they be lonely, would they be scared, would they be bullied, would I ever figure out what to do with the forms that needed to be filled in so that they could have lunch? Spoiler; it's been nine weeks and I'm still not. Es, but it sounds more charming and less infuriating if you say it in French).
Peonies and Polaroids: August 2014
http://www.peoniesandpolaroids.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 22, 2014. Might have ruined blogging. It's so easy and immediate, whenever I think of something that I might want to say here I realise I've already said in small drip, drip, drips on instagram. I don't know that everyone who reads here also follows me there (@ caratakesphotos. Doesn't everyone find them almost universally insufferable? Questions questions. In the meantime, happy weekend. (Remember when we used to wish each other a happy weekend every week? And a happy monday? It still con...
Peonies and Polaroids: March 2009
http://www.peoniesandpolaroids.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 31, 2009. All images from backstage at Three as Four's. Monday, March 30, 2009. And in a puff of tulle, she vanished. I saved this picture months and months ago because I love it. I don't particularly like veils but this one is so crazy I'm smitten. I can just see the bride ordering it from a veil maker (veilier? No bigger, I want it bigger. Big I tell you! Yes, now you've got it. Thank you.". The fact that she is fixing the veil in place with hairspray. Is just too brilliant. The idea of ...

Aesthetic Bent: December 2009
http://aestheticbent.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 22, 2009. No particular reason why either.although I suppose most of my free time has been spent in pursuit of Christmas presents. I am leaving Christmas Eve to see my family, and I am so so excited. Anyway, I have been seeing more movies lately, and this. Has been bumped up on the list after hearing about it yesterday. I love the era and would like to learn more about Victoria and Albert (especially if that means getting to look at Rupert Friend. The young victoria movie. Right now....

Wednesday, June 30, 2010. I ♥ Collage. If you've read this blog in the past, you may know how much I love collage and collage style art. That's why I was excited to find Eduardo Recife. An artist after my own heart. He loves typography, vintage, and has an affinity for the distant past. Yes, please. Listening to Sleepy Sun. Labels: eduardo recife art. Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air. Anyway, that's why I was so excited to find this suit from Geronimo. Even a...

http://apapercity.blogspot.com/2010/05/kendra-stephen-programs.html
Friday, May 14, 2010. I gave a little peek of Kendra Stephen's wedding invites. Awhile back but now that the wedding is over I'm excited to share a few more details! I designed their programs and made some little cards that sat by the guest book and on the buffet table to let the guests know what all the food was. Thanks Kendra Stephen for letting us be such a big part in your wedding. We love you! I will post details of the invites soon. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Dear Sara Lund's Jumper,. I feel like you broke up with me. Oh jumper, it breaks my heart to think of you stuffed in a wardrobe room somewhere in Denmark, still at least you'll be warm. If I keep you on my screen saver does that qualify as stalking and warrant an investigation? What's Danish for 999? Posted by the letters i wish i'd written. Links to this post. A b b wedding! I WANT HER DRESS. And might as well throw in his hat for good measure. Links to this post. How fabulous is their paper flower arch? And dudes, they got married in a trolley barn. Wedding jealousies all over the place here. Links to this post. Links to this post. These will be happening. Along with bocce, ping pong and taking over the giant chessboard on the inn's grounds. We see the open bar as an added asset here. (and is also why we are not having horseshoes.). Links to this post. Phase ...
a b+b wedding!: reflections on a wedding shower
http://abandbwedding.blogspot.com/2011/05/reflections-on-wedding-shower.html
A b b wedding! Reflections on a wedding shower. It was really really nice. No bow bouquets, so silly games, no awkwardness. Just good friends, awesome family and a lot of damn delicious food. Ben and I decided that we didn't want to ask for typical gift-type gifts twice (wedding and. So we asked everybody to bring a copy of their favorite book (or two. or three or four.). What we ended up with. Is pretty much our definition of bliss. Some random snapshots of the day:. The random dog that came to hang out...

http://blossomandbloom.blogspot.com/2012/04/best-brunches-in-paris-x.html
Friday, April 20. The best brunches in paris x. I think that i must keep my subscription to * my little paris. Simply to torment myself with all the things i could do in paris if i visited more/lived there.but if you are planning a trip in the near future it's a great resource for restaurants, bars, new shop openings and general things to do that you probably wouldn't stumble across yourself. Being a complete breakfast addict, I loved yesterday's email.* the best brunches in paris. Take care, sharon x.

Our married life together. The life of Wayne and Farrah and their first year of marriage. Birthdays and Camera Ninjas. A few test pics! My nana in the kitchen, oh bless. I GOT A NEW CAMERA and I probably won't shut up about it for the next few months. It's a beautiful Canon 7D which also takes HD video. *faints*. Wayne secretly organised for my family and his family to pitch in for my birthday to help us pay for it. I am absolutely so grateful for the great family I have. Luke and Nicole's wedding. Diva ...

Building Your Teacher Wardrobe. Wow, it has seriously been about a month since I last posted a blog! There is no better time to start building that professional wardrobe than now, and it sure beats having to spend a fortune all at once as a broke, post-grad! Ha-ha Today's blog post is dedicated to those transitional pieces, many of which work for sorority meetings, work, interviews, etc. I could link so many adorable pieces, but I narrowed it down to some of my personal "must haves". Enjoy! I love this c...

Peonies and Pitterpats
Monday, March 19, 2012. A few specifics on my list last night at 11:30 (some much more long-term than others, and in no particular order). Get in shape (because maybe being in pictures isn't so bad if you feel good). Set a better cleaning schedule (because getting it all done on Saturday seems to be impossible and leaves no time for fun). Because I miss my violin! Start packing (because packing for a baby is a long-term process). Figure out Max's eczema (because it's the worst). I've been working on deco...

Peonies and Polaroids
Tuesday, February 27, 2018. Time travel via the classic medium of blog posts. Phase One, the neurotic wedding/lifestyle blogging as a distraction from debilitating pain, fear and anxiety era. Spiraling depression, anxiety, despair. Much hyperventilating and sobbing. A lot of shouting, impulsive creation of an unforeseeably tenacious blog. Some (fucking loads of) wedding planning. Quite a few meltdowns. Potentially as distraction from the aforementioned anxiety and despair. Oh and a wedding. With the whol...

A blog for all things beautiful, inspiring, creative and delicious. Peonies and Pom Poms. Wow, can you believe it’s the 1st of August already, crazy. I know, I know I have a crazy life! I recently went to Asia de Cuba. At St Martins Lane Hotel and had the most delicious mini doughnuts for dessert and since the...
