Wednesday, May 31, 2006. A No No, I Didn't Know. Chris Young nearly pitched a No No last night against the pesky Rockies. The Padres won the game 2-0 and Young pitched the no no into the 8th inning and the place was rocking. Padre Mike turned on the TV in the 8th and was happy to see Chris still in the game and the Padres with a 2-run lead. Then a Rocky gets a hit into right field and everyone gets real depressed. Tuesday, December 27, 2005. Padre Team: I hardy recognize ye. Well, there have certainly been a great deal of changes to the Padre ball club, some good, some head scratchers (Lorretta). But for a team like the Pads, these aggressive off season moves are good. We have new blood at the top with Sandy and now see new blood on the field. Sunday, July 31, 2005. I think today I'm going to mow my lawn, maybe take the kids the beach or pool. There is a concert at 5 pm at the park, maybe, well head to that. And it only took 73 games (38 home games), past the middle of June, and 10 innings against Seattle last night to for the Padres to finally have a 500 home record (19-19).
