Our crazy but wonderfully fun life with 5 boys. Sunday, January 29, 2012. Thought it would be good to record an update on how things are going, 2 months after diagnosis. Having a diabetic child has already become 'normal' for us. Its amazing how quickly routines get set, and how quickly God took the emotional roller coaster of those first few weeks and replaced it with peace and a sense of normalcy. Two weeks ago he let a babysitter give him his bedtime shot. This was a big step! He started doing his own.

Our crazy but wonderfully fun life with 5 boys. A little history (the quick version ). Son#4 (Kellan). Yep, that meant we had 4 children in 32 months. And then we moved cross-country, far away from family, with a just-turned 3 year old, a 18 month old, and 5 month old twins. A little bit insane. I know. Don't worry, we waited 2 more years before have #5, also a boy; Quinn. And now, God is calling us to add to our family through adoption. And we couldn't be more excited. :). We love each other.

Where in the world are the Oxleys? Post Pilgrimage Knee Update. November 25, 2015. Everyone put a huge smile on their face😄…for this update…. Upon our return we went ASAP to an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in knees. Looks like this pilgrim managed to complete the entire pilgrimage with a broken patella (knee cap) 😁! I can only thank my beloved husband and all my fellow pilgrims who literally carried and prayed me through to the completion of this amazing journey! Please keep each other in prayer.
