Life is busy with a toddler so I haven't posted anything in almost a year! My last post was about Ivy's 1st Birthday party and I will soon post pictures of her 2nd Birthday! A lot has changed in a year! We will welcome a sweet baby boy to our family in a couple of days! When Ivy was two weeks old we had her newborn pictures taken by the talented Count it Joy Photography! I absolutely love every single breathtaking picture! Jamie did an amazing job and we couldn't have asked for a better session! In love with my beautiful baby girl! We are so incredibly blessed. Labels: 1st month pictures. I can't believe my little Ivy Wren is one month old today! This has been the most wonderful (and exhausting) month of our lives! We love our precious baby girl! Looking at her mom.

This past month has flown by! She had her first Easter, tried rice cereal for the first time, started rolling over from back to tummy a lot, got her first ear infection, and we think she has started teething! We are having so much fun with our sweet baby girl and are looking forward to taking her to the beach soon! She weighs 13 lbs 1 oz and is 25 in long! Playing with toys (she loves figuring out how to make them jingle and rattle). Taking a bath (she loves to splash! Walks in the stroller.

I can't believe our beautiful baby girl is 3 months old today! I am amazed at how quickly she changes every week! She even giggled for the first time a few days ago (a sound I have been craving ever since)! Now we just need this yucky colic and reflux to go away! Riding in her stroller. Chewing on her hands. Singing along with mom. Laying in her play mat. Standing while we hold her. Drooling spit bubbles (so much drool! This one is fine with me! Love this sweet girl! Labels: monthly baby picture.

Ivy's First Birthday Party. The party started at 11:00 so I thought it would be a good idea to serve brunch type food. Strawberry and donut hole kabobs, Chic-fil-a chicken minis, bacon kabobs, sausage balls, Fruit Loops, and more donut holes. For the cake we had chocolate chip iced bundt cakes from Nothing Bundt Cakes. These are seriously the most delicious cakes and they look adorable too! Ivy LOVED being the center of attention and got so excited when everyone sang Happy Birthday to her!

I had the most wonderful baby shower last Sunday! Thanks so much to everyone that came and the amazing hostesses that made it perfect! Ivy is the size of jicama! So excited about my baby shower in Alabaster this weekend! Ivy is the size of a pineapple! Labels: weekly bump pic. Ivy has been moving around a lot lately! Flower petal template- located HERE. Headband (wide bands work best). Print the template on cardstock and cut out. Trace template onto fabric: 12 Large, 20 Medium, 3 Small. To make the large flower:. Fold in half again. Make a few quick stitches to hold in place. Cut a small circle of felt. Sew the folded petals to the edge of the felt circle. I have been neglecting my blog big time! So I thought I would share a fun project I worked on last weekend, a tree mural! I painted this for my sweet cousin Brittany! She is expecting a baby girl soon (tomorrow! And wanted a tree painted in her nursery to coordinate with the crib bedding. It was a lot of fun working on this and I love how it turned out! Client Living Room Design. I have another Melissa Stapleton Interiors design reveal to share today! The goal for this living area was to turn a room that was never used into a useable and comfortable space perfect for entertaining or just relaxing on the weekends. Saturday, June 20, 2009. We spent Memorial Day in St. Simons and despite the bad weather, did make it to the beach a few times. This was Adeline's first trip to the beach where she could walk and she had a BALL! She loved the sand, ocean waves, pool etc and now asks to go swimming several times a day.
