Monday, May 13, 2013. This post, inspired by Emily ,. Is late. But I wanted to share . Learned from My Mom:. Cookies are made from scratch. Everything can be improved. A clean house is a happy house. Laugh at your husband's dumb jokes. Support family in the things they want to do. Take piano lessons. Or dance lessons. Or do choir. Choose what you want. Service is as much intent as it is action. Service is a daily activity. Serving someone is loving them. Make up covers acne. Sort of. I am a child of God.

Saturday, November 30, 2013. Two weeks. Fourteen days. Can you believe it? That's only ten fingers and four toes. I do believe this had been the most busy and least productive six months I've had in a long time. I've made a list. 4 Internet calling capabilities. Average of 1.6 times a day we get to call, generally face to face (I love technology). 1 new oud (rhymes with food). Friday, June 28, 2013. I watched my niece and nephew today. Pretty much I'd be ok just taking them home with me. I love them. We had a great day, despite waking up at 7:30 am. They cleaned the house- not because I made them. It was chore day. And then we went to the park. That didn't last long, since it was a million degrees outside. My elbow pits were sweating.
