Our Little Red Saltbox: The Past Week and A Spring Drawing....
http://ourlittleredsaltbox.blogspot.com/2015/04/the-past-week-and-spring-drawing.html
Our Little Red Saltbox.A step back to a simpler time of living. Friday, April 17, 2015. The Past Week and A Spring Drawing. Homemade toast on the cookstove. With a hot cup of tea, of course. A bit of cupboard rearranging. I re-upholstered our bench with burlap. Dehydrated zucchini and summer squash. Pumpkin patch biscuits. Simply delicious! I stenciled our entry. And found more pewter on Ebay to add to our collection. I think we all wondered if we would ever see it again. LOL! April 17, 2015 at 3:44 PM.

Our Little Red Saltbox.A step back to a simpler time of living. Sunday, February 15, 2015. Keeper’s of the Home…. This past Thursday night was our February "Keepers of the Home" meeting. As always it was packed with a lot of fun. Marianne brought in this beautiful braided wool rug that she has been working on. She is doing such a great job! Hollie thought she was doing a great job, too! This month's meeting was really packed. We split up into 2 groups. The first group made homemade granola. You'll find m...

Our Little Red Saltbox.A step back to a simpler time of living. Sunday, March 29, 2015. Bits and Bobbs…. I apologize for the lengthy absence. We have had a lot going on here, so blogging had to take a back seat. I'm back now, though! Here's a few pictures for you. For Christmas, my husband bought us tickets to see Neil Diamond in Boston. The concert was this past Monday. We drove to Portland and then took the train into Boston. What a fun trip! Oh, how I love Neil Diamond! I prefer hanging jeans and towe...

Our Little Red Saltbox: June 2014
http://ourlittleredsaltbox.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Our Little Red Saltbox.A step back to a simpler time of living. Wednesday, June 25, 2014. Doesn't everybody love a Sunday drive? The older I get the more I look forward to summer days/nights where my husband and I just hop in the car and drive. I probably take pictures of the same thing over and over, but we love it! As you can see, the day wasn't sure if it wanted to rain or shine. I'm glad it chose to shine. (smile). I hope the sun is shining in your part of the world! Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Father'...

The Journey to Our Daughter and the Annals of Parenthood. Parenting is like the stock market. You invest a lot with very little return sometimes. Red Head + a Little Chick
Red Head a Little Chick. Friday, November 13, 2009. A" is for Alameda. In June, I had the great fortune of taking two friends and heading for the Alameda Flea Market. Let me just say, I Love, Love. As an avid collector of everything vintage, this is the place to go. A dream come true. The pot of gold. The find of finds. The place you can go to find all of those delicious do-dads that bless homes in the pages of magazines like Country Home and Country Living. Did I mention that I love Alameda? Its wheels ...

Our Little Red Saltbox.A step back to a simpler time of living. Friday, July 15, 2016. A Little Craft for Sale. I admit it's been a while since I last posted, but like all of you, life is very busy! I love summer, but I have to admit, it's a lot of work! Lawn mowing, weeding the vegetable garden, tending the flower beds, making jams and jellies, along with other canned goodies, and then there's the everyday house chores. I know you can all relate! Our Little Reed Family
Our Little Reed Family. I kinda think we rock. Friday, December 10, 2010. First Day of School! Dylan turning 3 meant all kinds of new changes for him education-wise. We've had 2 speech teachers meeting with him once a week for an hour for about the last year and a half, and there hasn't been a huge improvement. He's stopped saying some of the things he was before(backpack, map) but I think that's because we've cut down on his tv. Doesn't that face just say it all? Me being the crazie. Car' playtime. ...
Our Little Rehab | a tale of things that never go quite right
A tale of things that never go quite right. While the boy finishes the drum sander work, I am going to start working on bleaching the water stains out with oxalic acid. Hopefully it is the miracle that some people make it sound like. A few of the spots, especially the front entryway, are really going to need a bit of a miracle. That’s it for now, time for a little time off to do some wedding stuff…. Roll with the punches. Black stuff almost gone. We’re on a roll. My soon-to-be hubby and I are the proud n...
Our little remodel
December 22, 2010. Moving day v.2. Let me start by wishing a Happy holidays to all of Our Little Remodel readers. Todays title refers to Ginas Grandpa moving in with us Jan 1. . First I had to install the door to the dog room. Normally the doors go in after all the drywall and flooring is done, but in this case I needed to have the door installed first because the aluminum trim/threshold needed to fit inside the door trim and jamb to look right. And there they are. Two pieces of steel square...With th...
Our Little Remy | February 23rd, 2011, after a routine appointment at Downtown Women OBGYN in Soho, my wife, Mary, was instructed to go directly to the emergency room at NYU Tisch. She was having extreme back pain, chest pain, and shortness of breath. Fo
I’ve attempted to post so many times since posting Remy’s eulogy. On June 5th and my fingers just stopped working, my brain just went to mush and tears rolled down my eyes. It may sound contradictory to the message I set out to send. A message Remy embedded into so many, but it was a piece of me that seized to work and maybe it is just because I feel the urge to honor her on this special day that am able to do it today. December 25, 2011. June 5, 2011. I know that many of you who wanted to be there for R...
