Monday, 23 May 2011. Just as we were getting used to life without snow. And just as we were getting used to a bit of sunshine. And just as we were considering putting the warm coats away till next year. Blooming gale force winds and torrential rain. I'm not going out there with my camera just to prove a point but it truly is wild. Hopefully normal life will soon resume. Links to this post. Thursday, 12 May 2011. This week I have spent a fair amount of time rooting around in the "change tin". If you want...

Come join me on my crafting journey. Tuesday, 12 February 2013. Our Mosaic Pathway Work in Progress Part Two. We had to take a bit of a break from it over the winter, although Mr K has added a few sections since I last blogged about it. I thought today I would share a few do's and don'ts that we've learnt along the way. DON'T use quick set concrete mix! DO check the weather forecast. DO use your favou...

Julip: December 2011

Thursday, December 8, 2011. It's taken nearly two and a half years, but at last my Ellie. Shoes have gone from this. Most excited to have finally finished them. I think I made just about every mistake and broke every rule getting the soles and heels on these, due to a combination of being out of practise, laziness and lack of necessary equipment/patience. In some ways I'm very glad I did - it has been a while since I've soled any shoes so it was a great refresher course in what NOT to do. I am a shoemake...

Thursday, 30 June 2011. My Creative Space today was ever so slightly hi-jacked at lunch time when a text message reminded me of a deadline I had forgotten about. The simple question "Is your bear ready for the Teddy Bear Trail? Lead to the one word answer "oops". I've mentioned a few times about our various window competitions here in Alyth. This years teddies will all have different flowers which have to be identified. Visit other creative spaces by clicking HERE. Links to this post. I like to think tha...

But, while I'm working things don't always go to plan.at the time, this usually causes me more than a little frustration, but in the end it usually works out better than I had imagined. I'd meant for them to go anticlockwise, not clockwise! How could I have been so careless? There was a little seren...
