Trading Ambition: 4th time lucky?
http://tradingambition.blogspot.com/2009/07/4th-time-lucky.html
Trials and tribulations of a part-time novice Sports trader. Friday, 24 July 2009. Its been a long time since I posted on here and thats entirely down to the fact that I havent traded since March after I lost the plot and destroyed my book in a short period of time. Its the usual story I am afraid - poor discipline! Time away from trading helps and I now intend to pick up where I left off last time but leaving all the bad habits behind hopefully. Thats it for now -wish me luck! Friday, July 24, 2009.

Trading Ambition: July 2009
http://tradingambition.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Trials and tribulations of a part-time novice Sports trader. Friday, 31 July 2009. Maintaining discipline so far. Its been a short month for me with only 86 races covered over 7 days. So results for July is a net loss of £20.38 representing just over 10% drawdown from the starting book of £200. So where am I going with this? My plan for August is to maintain the tight dsicipline and lose less than I have lost this month. It may be too early to set profit targets just yet. Onwards and upwards - bu...Today...

Trading Ambition: Strange day for Trading
http://tradingambition.blogspot.com/2009/07/strange-day-for-trading.html
Trials and tribulations of a part-time novice Sports trader. Wednesday, 29 July 2009. Strange day for Trading. Todays washout at Perth made it an awkward day for trading. The remaining races were poorly scheduled from a trading perspective and I found it really difficult to get into a steady flow and it showed in my results. There is a mix of good and bad news to report:. Also I am winning a higher percentage of races than I am losing = about 60:40 split at the moment. Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Essential...

Trading Ambition: A very respectable day
http://tradingambition.blogspot.com/2009/03/very-respectable-day.html
Trials and tribulations of a part-time novice Sports trader. Friday, 20 March 2009. A very respectable day. Results from 20th March. If I could trade every day as well as I did today I would be a very happy man and a reasonably successful trader to boot. I was very happy with 4 losses all adding up to less than a pound. Coming to terms with the losses and not chasing them has helped me immeasurably over the last few days. I still work very hard at trying to minimise them. Friday, March 20, 2009. How to b...
